Күн бұрынWell I have made a difficult decision to sell my 55 year old caravan. Sentimental reason for owning this and the many other but I don't use it so need to move it on sadly. Thomson Glenelg made in Scotland, been stood for over 4 years since I bought it.

As a Falkirk lad you said Carron perfectly as a local would. I do recall someone when I was a wee lad in the 80s a family in our street had a Thomson caravan that the man proudly would tell us that it was made here in Falkirk.. Certainly a blast from the past for me

@@paulwlynch I have been to the old factory a couple of times, visited the Glasgow sales centre site bit had been demolished by then. I travel the country with work and had a customer in Falkirk, spoke them about Thomson an they were all enthusiastic. I help run the Thomson owners FB group and the Sales group. @@dazwatson86 I'm struggling.. Really am but when it's gone I will be ok.. I hope. Stupid sentimental tug makes it harder. Today has been a rollercoaster and it's still here.. if it was a 1968 it wouldn't be for sale. I had to say no to a 68 a few months ago due to space and money.. It went to a good home, a friend of mine bought it
