At around 45: minutes, professor Hunter picks up on what Dr. Carr is saying. He says "We are not starting from scratch" .... This is a crucial reference point. Where she says: "When we start to talk about ourselves , in juxtaposition of others, we've lost". No conversation should start with White Anything! Start with us!". Knubians, let that sink in.

We never believed in Thanksgiving and debated if we should do anything on that day. If you have been in this class, for any length of time. Dr. Carr for those of you that were not before. He has created thousands of black autodidacts worldwide. I’m just saying….✊🏾 Ase and Hotep family. So understand we are a threat and a force to be reckoned with. And I’m unapologetic about it. Let’s be clear.
@DrMichaelWalker3 жыл бұрын
The pandemic changed a lot. As a people, we've always had to be autodidacts. We, as Africans wherever we were born or are in the world, initiated learning be it math, astronomy, medicine and more. But the ancestors are moving in multiplicity in our people taking advantage of the pandemic and the social structure continuing to try to put its knee on our neck. The momentum of memory.

"Immaturity comes when you think you're starting a race from the starting linen..And that's what allows you to then become a figment of other people's imagination." 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Taking that thought one step further, when we accept what others imagine us to be as our reality we get what we have now: a people trapped (for 400 years and counting) in the imaginary world of race.

30 peps in 15 seat ugly van in Crooklyn. When I first moved to Los Angeles I met a young brother who just returned from crooklyn New York; his first time there visiting a girl friend and meet the family. They operated one of those community vans and volunteered to drive one day. He was still shaking three days later back in LA when I met him at an after hours. When I realized what this poor brother had been through we laughed hard and I gave respect in two drinks. He couldn’t believe the whole experience.

All this time I thought 'I' was the crazy one. All the little ticks, the strange suspicions. Nope. Those are reinforcements. To 'keep 'em in their place'. Like posted on a pole, in front of dead plantation? Man. The fact that I have no resources to move my life past the current circumstance. I know I can squarely place that on me for taking the right actions. The lack of access to financial institutions. A lot of people could start businesses like, tomorrow. It would be jobs that didn't burn people out within the first two weeks of the job's start date. Gotta keep breathing. Knowing they're throwing boulders in our way, too bad it's also bullets. Well. It's nothing more satisfying than to be able to look at the Amu, without saying a word. We see you in South Africa. The sad state of black leadership there. Giving the Amu open access to the resources there, shoving the indigenous people into holes in ground and really bad trade policies. They ship out raw materials, but buy back products made with the same materials that 'could' be produced in Africa. Weird. Meanwhile, in These, 'United Steak Knives' Of America. You can imagine why I said steak knives. Keep Breathing♨️. Huh. That air looks kinda hot bro. You good? Keep Breathing🏞🏕🏖🌆🌆🌆🌆🌆🌇🌆 It's the lonliness and the lack of 'Black' Social Infrastructure. I mean like meaningful, face to face engagement. It's non-existent here in Bend, Oregon. Most blacks I see here seem ashamed to be black. It's like a competition to see who can be the shadiest, no pun intended, seriously, I didn't see that coming. Anyways, I know something real bad has happened and is still constantly happening to 'us'. I know we came to this country chained to the bottom of boats. If we all decided to leave, they wouldn't let us do it. We never did anything wrong and I no longer have to walk around feeling like I've done something wrong. Never again. They got us good though. Especially our homeland. They did everything in their power to sever any connection any future generations would have to Africa. Disgusting. #Wedidnothingwrong=So get cho hands off my stuff and give back what chu 'know' you stole, boy. Ase.
