It won't be a surprise to me when your channel reaches 100,000 subscribers. This is one of the best chess channels. The analysis is superb and the instructive videos are the best to teach players of all levels. The puzzles of the week are also a great addition to the channel. All in all, the channel is entertaining and educational. Please keep the videos coming.

Daniel has a gift for language I've not come across in other chess commentators. It allows him to find so much nuance in emphasising strength of different lines of play, and communicate such affection for the game. My most frequently returned to chess channel.

Some of the most brilliant chess I have seen from him. A full range of different types of win too. Thanks Daniel and keep up the good work.

Lékó hailed Carlsen’s opening choice in this game as he chose an old strategic line that the youngsters may not know/feel very well, and of course Carlsen knows everything. His performance was absolutely terrific, he was very much above the field. Erigaisi shouldn’t feel shame because he played brilliantly throughout the tournament and I am sure he has learned a lot. It’ll be great to see him in future tournaments.

Awesome performance from Carlson, now he’s 2900 on the season !! Unbelievable. To dominate this top 20 player is most impressive 👍👍👍

The Saemisch variation was a lethal part of the repertoire of the oldest living world champion, Boris Spassky. His finest game: game 7 of the 1968 candidates matches against Korchnoy. Great analysis Mr King.

3:40---"Very well-known tactic." Ya could've fooled me. Been playing King's Indian for decades but had either forgotten or simply didn't know it. No wonder I never made NM!

The fun thing about the Sämisch variation is that you can play it in any opening.

Mr Daniel King, this is not a comment on the video but is a request. I'm very delighted if you post the game analysis of the game between Hans Niemann and Levon Aronian from Day 3 of the Julius Baer Generation Cup 2022. For me it was an impressive victory of Hans Niemann, and the moves are very interesting. Could you please fulfill my request? Thank you in advance!

I like to play Modern Benoni myself as black. But in my experience, when you don't have your black square bishop anymore, your counterplay becomes very much limited. That pawn center usually storms forward sooner or later.

To be fair, Arjun played far, far below his usual standards. The same happened in the prelim vs Magnus. In fact, Magnus made a few moves that some other guys at the top would have punished. I cannot recall seeing a player so much paralyzed by the «Magnus effect». Magnus has been the champ since Arjun was a little kid. Tons of respect can be a burden.
@georgeainsworth24672 жыл бұрын
Why would you talk such rubbish?
@LateCloser2 жыл бұрын
@@georgeainsworth2467 Because it's true. Erigaisi played horrible in the first game, not much better in this game. The previous set was not very entertaining either. He simply looked outclassed. He didn't look like he belonged in the same ring with Carlsen. Magnus is Magnus, but this was too easy. Just way too sloppy in the openings and immediately following it. Magnus got significant positional advantages and never sweated. I was greatly disappointed by Arjun's performance. I was looking forward to a fight, instead he looked like a deer caught in headlights. At least, he's very young and I'm sure he'll do better next time. This match, was very rough though.
@georgeainsworth24672 жыл бұрын
Do you have anything to support these crazy statements?
@LateCloser2 жыл бұрын
@@georgeainsworth2467 Yeah, I watched all of the games live while listening to GrandMaster Peter Leko's assessment. You know, the guy that was one draw away from being World Champion? I guess Peter and I are crazy like that. I'm guessing you're a Eregaisi fanboy who didn't even watch the games live nor look at them afterward. You could try looking at them with Stockfish. I don't think Stockfish or any other program is going to support your blind devotion. Not in this match.

KID on the board, Daniel King on the analysis. Three moves in, you know black is getting absolutely demolished. :D
@markjordan89192 жыл бұрын
I don't understand why Erigaisi even considered playing 10...Nd7, let alone played it as it's well known that it allows 11.Nh3 thus solving White's Kings-side development problems. Okay, he may not have been prepared for 6.Bg5 but Nh3 after Nd7 but it's common in a number of Saemisch lines and always seems to give White at least an edge.

Agreed but don’t know why can’t see that Million boy using all his money to buy all tournaments. Disgusting to see him winning. But true is superior by far. Better if go away for a while. And once again Fantastic review by Daniel a real delicatessen commentator he deserves 100K minimum. Mind that short dressed girls playing in park are over 500k …? Can not understand that
