I'm a 56-year-old woman that has not practiced it or been to a church since 1986 when I graduated from high school. Many beliefs I have don't match any religion. For me God is in nature. That's the biggee for most people. A couple months ago I had the desire to read the Bible. Then I looked for a bible study here where I live or online or KZbin. I was very disheartened to none. A whole bunch of Christian channels started appearing in my feeds. I thought that I could learn the bible from Christians. I believe that at the core, we are similar. Now I get all kinds of stuff! I bought a bible and a separate journal. I can't find the note taking ones up here. I have sooo much respect from most of the channels I get. I wish that we had been taught to love the Bible - the word of God. I think we could be so much better than materialistic judging & comparing that we were taught. That in a nutshell is why I don't practice. I want to love my Bible the way you do!!

I want to thank you for giving me the information I need to improve my Bible study. I started rereading my Bible in my adult years. (read it when I was younger and it scared me lol) but as an adult I've been getting back into my Bible thank you so much for to helping me with organizing myself and pointing me in a direction where I can learn and understand the Word of God.

I did a word study for glory too recently and I've seen this video at least four times now, but I didn't do it cause of you, I had my own need to look into it. Because it was saying the glory to be glorified and this and that all in one paragraph and I needed it broken up a little for me to understand what was actually being said. So knowing the resources, thanks to you was so helpful. thank you

Yesterday I read the same sentence “No one has ever seen God” in 1 John 4:12. It’s describing how we see God through LOVE. This time it’s describing Jesus. Therefore, Jesus=Love! I’m convinced God speaks to me in duplicates. I hear the same thing one day and then the next day I hear it again. This time I got to put 2 and 2 together to make 4 😂.

I don't know if you have them already, but I'm new to Bible study journaling and would like to start. I just don't know what I would need besides a Bible, paper and some sort of tape. I absolutely love the Bible. One of my favorite books in the world. Another book I hold so dearly and close to my heart is The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It’s a record of God’s people in ancient Americas and Christ reigns personally to those people after he is resurrected. You should totally check it out! It draws me so close to him when I read it and ponder it. Anybody who reads it with real intent and asks God can know it’s true. I figured since you love the Bible so much you’d love this too!

These short little videos of studying a. Single passage are very lovely. I watch them while I crochet. I hâte to ask but I hope that you can pray for me I feel like an imposter with my renewed interest in theology and the Bible. I used to do Bible study but a falling out with a long time friend and some hurtful things she said pushed me away from God. So I’m at this point where praying feels disingenuous even if I mean what I’m saying and feeling because it doesn’t feel like ME. And I don’t like that. I am not only worried about what others will think of my sudden new obsession with the Bible and theology but also not how God sees me because I know he knows my heart but I guess how I see myself. Like I’m not ALLOWED to do these things. Like it’s not who I am. I don’t like that. I’ve been praying about it and talking to God about how I feel. Im also moving in with my boyfriend in a few days and we have been talking about this and he is very supportive and comes from a Christian family as well, so I know he will be there to help me when I feel this way. Your videos help a lot

Why are you commenting and teaching here? You're a woman! What if a man reads it!
@sheldon3996 Жыл бұрын
@Sister Rose As a man, I am not suffering Faith to teach me, nor is she usurping my authority in any way. Instead, I choose, of my own accord, to capitalize on her experience in an effort to better myself and improve my own study methods and habits. Neither am I am being forced or coerced against my will as I glean from Faith that which I will. Finally, I am not being deceived by Faith, only exposed to her thoughts and suggestions as they pertain to life, faith, and studying God’s word. Ultimately, it is my final decision to use any, all, or none of her suggestions.
