These dirty drums go perfectly with the sample chops🔥🔥💣 sounds like preemo
@apexone550211 ай бұрын
I see I’m not the only one who can feel the Preemo inspiration. One of the reasons is because his chops make sense. Some cats chop and they feel random instead of making sense. Of course the head bopping hard drums add on to the Preemo feel.

Yo so i got a ? When u say 16 velocity on ur hats..can u explain that? I dont use an mpc, im using a presonus atom controller - studio one as my daw....i have been adding the same hat sample to dif. Pads with dif. Velocitys...is that the same ? Should my loud hat hit opposite of kicks and snares and quieter with ? Thanks in advance! Really dig ur videos 🤟
@dubsbangermusic11 ай бұрын
appreciate that thank you, im not too familiar with your daw but you can use your mouse and play with the velocity in your daw to make it louder and quieter. velocity means the volume output of the sound youre using... yes your loud hi hats should be used when there is no interference. when you play your kick and drum i would keep the hi hat lower cuz youre not going to be able to hear the bounce in the hi hat. Let me know if this helped you
