Is that true Damascus or just acid wash? If it’s true Damascus, does that affect the blade durability? It seems like it would be more brittle or likely to shatter/chip

Vegas Forge is supposed to be good Damascus so I don't think I'd worry about using it.

I’ve experienced the opposite. I sent a knife in for warranty and it was fixed and sent back to me at no cost within a month.

100% right on they will not the answer the phone or email you back not worth buying anything from them. How can you deal with bad customer service when there is so many companies doing OTF now just as good that will email you back. Very insulating this happens to many people who want to deal with them they must lose a lot of people who would like to do business with them over this matter. These customers most likely bought from other companies, I know I DID and was a lot $$$ spent with there competitors there loss oh yea they don't care.

I’ve only ever had good experience with their customer service as well. I never had to send anything back but called for other services.
