Looking at V3 for commercial setting. How do you enjoy the workflow compared to volumetric models out there?
@BeanTalk4 ай бұрын
I used to work with a V3 at my old job ad absolutely loved it! Of course it takes some getting used to, if you have never worked with a manual machine, but it will reward you with incredible coffee like no other machine. Over time you'll also get a pretty decent feeling on how the coffee flows and when to stop the extraction without a scale. The V3 is still one of, if not the favorite machine of mine, and I think once you work with it, you never want to use another machine.

@@BeanTalk Its simplicity, yet effectiveness looks very appealing. Would you recommend for a mobile coffee truck? Or would that be a little too ambitious?
@BeanTalk3 ай бұрын
It depends on your budget and space in the truck, but in general why not! Especially if you're planning to work with it yourself, I'm certain that there's no other machine where making coffee is as satisfying as with the V3 😊

Thanks for the informative video. Is this slayer espresso a V3 or V4 version?
@erikmulder1969 Жыл бұрын
Great video! I have a Slayer single group at home and love it! One thing you forgot to mention is the customizability of the machine in terms of material finishes, colors, etc. You can create a unique look, for example I chose orange finish with zebra wood handles.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Yes, you're absolutely right! Thank you for pointing that out 😊 That sounds like an awesome customization, I'd love to see pictures of it!

Yes I customized and they asked $19k for it

The Slayer really is beautiful but I can never justify nor afford the cost of it. 😅 My modded Breville Dual Boiler will have to do. Still, I hope I can afford it in the future. How tactile a machine feels is definitely important.

Hey, yes I totally understand! And you're right, the tactile feeling of the Slayer is absolutely incredible! I wish you all the best, that you can afford it in the future! 😊

Still have this machine since 2018. Always deliver great Results. But sometimes i think i need a new one. Maybe Strada X1 will be my future Espresso Machine. Can you review it ?

Hey, thank you for your comment. Yes, the Slayer is an amazing machine, sadly I don't have it at home. Do you want to change for a specific reason or do you just want to try something new?
@TheArgetho Жыл бұрын
@@BeanTalk yes just want to change a new modern tech I think. Maybe like Connected App or automatically stop when yield reach some points etc. You know after have it for 5 and almost 6 years, the grass is greener on the other side lol 😂

Nice machine! Londinium is the best looking espresso machine imo and built like a tank.

Thanks for the comment! I have only seen the Londinium on pictures so far, but might have to check it out in real life then!

VBM Domobar super is better
@BeanTalk Жыл бұрын
Hey thank you for your comment! I haven't tried either the Bianca nor the Domobar. But to me the Slayer (not talking about price) is from the design and the effortless handling the best single group machine I have worked with. But of course everyone has different opinions and this is a subjective topic. That's why I'm always curious to hear from others. What do you like or not like about the Bianca compared to the Slayer? 😊
@T3rm3nator Жыл бұрын
@@BeanTalk Slayer is more commercial, albeit the VBM is somewhat commercial. Slayer also is more consistent, has better thermal stability, better steaming, more luxurious and is the jewel crown of espresso machines. VBM has biggest E61 group head which is better than most in thermal stability (not better than slayer though). VBM has programmable pressure profiling which is amazing for its price. Also its super cheap compared to Slayer. Edit: When I claimed that the domobar super was better, I hadn't researched enough bout the Slayer. The only 3 things VBM super has over that Slayer is price, size and Profile programming.
