Been with my husband for 15 years, he introduced me to In Flames when we met and has always touted them as his all time favorite band. 5 days ago we had a baby girl, and upon leaving the hospital he showed me this song on the ride home telling me, "I listened to this on the day she was born." In that moment it officially became their song, forever.

See the thing about music is... Its all personal preference. Nobody else hears it though your ears and vice versa. If you don't like thier new stuff that's fine, some people do, some people don't. That does NOT make it bad or shitty music. Yes they might not be as hard as they used to, but at least they are still making albums. The day Flames stops making music will be a shitty day for us all. But until then at least try to enjoy what they put out and if you don't, well just leave it at that. Everyone always bashing it won't help the situation at all, and just makes the fanbase look like a bunch of whiney little kids. I will always love In Flames. unpopular opinion: 'Battles' is just as awesome as the old stuff and In Flames are absolutely nailing the more 'modern' metal sound. 'Sounds of a Playground Fading' and 'Siren Charms' were some of the best albums of the last few years and have been a great influence on a lot of bands, just like their first releases! 'Here Until Forever' is a killer song, and it's a hell of a video!

With them being around for 30 years in 2020 if they decided to retire then, I'd be fine with that but I think they should release a whole album/cd box set of all albums. Old or new this ban is amazing. The feels and the melody is still here and that's what got me into the band. I love every album from lunar strain up to battles... I thought battles would be good, but I didn't expect it to be THAT good. By far their best album. They just keep getting better. I'm 18 and have been a fan since Playground Fading. They're old stuff is good (as far back as Clayman, at least) but it's fantastic that a band that's been around for so long can not just keep going, but keep improving! I'm so happy to see another single from the album, and I'm pumped for whatever they do next. Cool video, too.
