Reform has pledged to “stop the boats” in its first 100 days in power as Nigel Farage launches his party’s manifesto in a run-down community centre in Merthyr Tydfil in Wales.
The party has set out a four-point plan on tackling illegal immigration that would involve leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), with zero illegal immigrants being resettled in the UK, a new government department for immigration, and migrants crossing the Channel in small boats being returned to France.
Mr Farage said in the foreword to the party’s manifesto: “The Tories have broken Britain. Labour will bankrupt Britain. A vote for either is a vote for more dishonesty and defeat.”
Nigel Farage said he intended to use the 2024 general election as a springboard to fight to be prime minister at the next national contest in 2029.
The leader of Reform UK said he wanted July 4 to result in his party having a “bridgehead” in the House of Commons.
He would then use that to build a “big national campaigning movement around the country over the course of the next five years for genuine change”.
Asked if it was his intention to therefore be vying to be PM at the next election, Mr Farage told the BBC Radio 4 Today programme: “Yes, absolutely.”

His visa application, including a passport photo and hand-written personal details, are kept in a separate section of the Czech Cold War state Security Service archives. Files marked 'Top Secret' from a previous International Work Camp in Prague in 1982 show it was overseen by the ruthless Czech StB spy agency as part of a wide-ranging and far-reaching 'Active Measure' - a euphemism for black operations and disinformation campaign - to undermine Nato. However, the specific pass Kier received was not the usual visitors visa that people received when going to these trips, but rather a StB issued clearance pass (like KGB). These clearance passes were virtually impossible to receive and likely the result of a 'quid pro quo' arrangement

There are 650 MPs at Westminster, each on 91,000 p/a plus expenses and allowances. On retirement, each MP can expect a pension of two thirds of their final salary and as they are all career politicians with a grip on Westminster, whether that be in power or in opposition, each will receive 60,000 p/a. Of those 650 MPs, 640 refused to attend the commons debates on the excessive deaths of British citizens which shows the utter contempt they have for us, our dead and our suffering people. VOTE REFORM PARTY AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK. LABOUR WILL BE A DISASTER AS THEY WILL DESTROY OUR ECONOMY AS USUAL, AND WILL FLOOD MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS AND IMMIGRANTS INTO OUR COUNTRY. UK IS FULL UP AND OUR INFRASTRUCTURE CANNOT TAKE THESE NUMBERS. IT IS LABOUR WHICH FIGHTS TO KEEP ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS and terrorists IN THIS COUNTRY. A VOTE FOR LABOUR IS A VOTE FOR AN ISLAMIC TAKE OVER. IMMIGRATION IS NOW KILLING THIS COUNTRIES INFRASTRUCTURE BUT THE WITLESS CHAMPAIGN SWILLING LEFTIES CANNOT SEE IT. VOTE REFORM PARTY AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.

This is the best thing I’ve heard this year. Enough phoney politics, enough being afraid to speak up for the fear of being deemed prejudice. This country has become weak and poor and we need strong individuals to speak out and make positive change.

Immigration is a huge problem, but especially so after decades of under-investment in housing and welfare. There wasn't enough housing built for the native population, immigrants or not. Meaning your prices would be unafforable anyway. I can't vote for another neoliberal party, who simply aren't ready to tackle the other underlying issues and serve the rich.
