I was lucky enough to watch the episodes when they originally aired. Laughed so hard at each one that it hurt. I still say ILC is the funniest show ever made, and it was stuff like this that made it golden. And no one got offended because they were equal-opportunity offensive. They savaged everyone: it didn't matter who you were because sooner or later they'd tear you apart too. It was a combination of good writing, a fantastic cast, and a willingness to go for the jugular. I miss it. Yeah, TV shows have way more swear words and dirty jokes now than they did back then, but that's not the same thing. They no longer have that edge.

Zorro (the stripper) came to the Bundys' house to return the ring. When Al answered the door, Zorro explained what happened and handed the ring to Al. When the camera cut to the lip curl, the audience went nuts with laughter, because you just knew "the hamster wheel of evil plotting" was spinning.
