@@kjohnson9306 .....violence is not the only thing that goes on in the hood. Whoever told you that shit is most likely not from the hood themselves, they just listen to rappers talk about being in the hood. Most rappers didn't live that life themselves. They are telling stories of individuals who experienced it or just being creative with their stories. Everyone claims they came from the gutter, when truthfully most of them mfers came from households with a hardworking parent or 2 with a family who's only crime was not having endless finances to do all they wanted for their family but was able to keep their roof over their head and the lights on. Yea, there are dark parts of the neighborhoods, but most people are just individuals trying to make it day by day. For every ignorant ass mfer trying to gang bang, there's 100 civilians that are tired of the violence and ignorance. Moral of the story, don't be so dumb to think everyone in the hood are criminals or looking to do someone harm.... Only ignorant as mfers push that notion and they make you seem just as ignorant repeating it.

I was lucky enough to watch the episodes when they originally aired. Laughed so hard at each one that it hurt. I still say ILC is the funniest show ever made, and it was stuff like this that made it golden. And no one got offended because they were equal-opportunity offensive. They savaged everyone: it didn't matter who you were because sooner or later they'd tear you apart too. It was a combination of good writing, a fantastic cast, and a willingness to go for the jugular. I miss it. Yeah, TV shows have way more swear words and dirty jokes now than they did back then, but that's not the same thing. They no longer have that edge.

Yes, particularly in the episode when Peg and Marcie went to a strip club where Marcie accidentally lost her wedding ring down a stripper's pants. Zorro (the stripper) came to the Bundys' house to return the ring. When Al answered the door, Zorro explained what happened and handed the ring to Al. When the camera cut to the lip curl, the audience went nuts with laughter, because you just knew "the hamster wheel of evil plotting" was spinning.
