Caring & helpful to fans, even out of his way to be kind.Such a good & principled person.Valued time bringing up his dear daughter.A promotional for a music store around the GTA,early 1980's- demonstrating playing the key boards with the many instruments there, later playing a little of the Sweet numbers for teen fans then.I will forever remember his kind nature. They had a great hold on the future as Sweet is a great band to find and rediscover even again and again.Thank you for the tribute,May God keep his family dear,RIP.

Why am I crying? He died at the age of 72, which is considered a long life. Moreover, he lived the way he wanted, made his music, until the very end. But still, there is a deep pain inside me, piercing my heart. It's as if he could have lived even more, maybe even reunited with Andy and sung those legendary songs. That was my hope, but he died and my hope vanished... Everything has an end. In the 70s, when I heard the name Sweet, my mind would go wild. Was there anyone who didn't envy Brian's long hair? Can anyone forget Steve supporting Brian's vocals as a second vocalist and his unique tonality? Or Mick's amazing drumming and his distinctive stick twirling? Who wouldn't remember Andy's extraordinary guitar riffs? Andy celebrated his 74th birthday. The last surviving member of the original lineup of Sweet. I hope he lives a lot longer and continues to create. I will never forget Steve. I will never forget his baby face. I will always remember these extraordinary guys in every aspect. Dear Steve, death is an experience that everyone will go through, but when someone who contributed to the world of art passes away, regardless of their age, it hurts. The world of art is grateful to you. You did your best in your worldly experience. I wish you success in your new life with Brian, Mick and the others, you beautiful soul.

Your comment is very beautiful and touching. I'm too young to know what it must be like to have grown up with these legends and to see Brian, Mick and Steve pass, like the end of an amazing era, one by one.💔 I am forever grateful for Andy Scott! He has this bright fire within him that just keeps on burning. I turned 23 this June and my birthday gift to myself was tickets to "Sommarrock" a rock festival in Svedala close to where I live in Sweden. It's now been a week since I saw Sweet in real life for the first time. It was absolutely magical. He's found himself a group of really talented musicians to back him up and I was honestly just as amazed by them as I was by Scott himself! It was the coolest experience of my life. The people there were just like you, long term fans of Sweet and their kids and grand kids. The energy of the crowd was awesome. Sweet truly has the sweetest fans! As long as Andy is healthy I think he will continue doing his thing. One can really sense his deep passion. Sadly Connolly, Tucker and Priest is no longer with us here on earth but they will forever be with us in their legendary music. Sweet will never truly die.❤️

But I thought they were all great …. And still do !! …. Still listening in 2023 and even my grown up boys know all the songs 👍👍Thank you for the music boys you definitely will never be forgotten x

Thank you for your thoughtful tribute. The candle was a nice touch. Steve was Mr. Personality and had a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed watching him play bass because he was so versatile. His interactions with Brian in the songs were always fun! He and Mick made a powerhouse of a rhythm section too. He is missed, along with Mick and Brian. Thanks for posting. 💝

Yes I love their wholesome interactions on stage as well, sometimes in videos of Sweet on stage you could see Steve saying something and the faces of the other members lit up and they laughed like never before. He seemed like genuinely nice man and I don't think fame ever got the best of him like it does for some people who just change and think they're suddenly better than ordinary people. It seems he never saw himself as bigger or better, he was just an ordinary guy with a band. That's at least what I gathered from listening to him talking in interviews. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching my tribute.🙏
