Nothing makes me feel so much absolute love and overwhelming compassion as watching Flying-Fox Bats... babies to the elders... being bottle fed and held in a Carer's lap squeaking in utter bliss as it's being petted with its eyes in slits milk-faced next to another Batty slurping up its little bottle of nutritive milk. I never felt this way about a human... 😮 I'm convinced there are Bat-People just as there are Dog People, Cat People, Bird-People, Horse People etc... poor Laudanum. Is a broken foot something that heals well enough for them to be released? i know a fractured wing is usually fatal, but a foot i can see a young bat,s foot healing enough to be usable. Or At least I am hoping. Donna is a big cuddly sweetheart isn't she!
