Mr. Jones wasn’t sure he wanted to do a baseball movie. Then his wife read the monologue and convinced him he should at least consider it. I’m glad he “considered” it. No one else could’ve delivered those lines like Mr. James Earl Jones. Thank you for the decades of entertaining us.

He was one of those actors that you think could never die. He will be missed. Not a fan of MLB, but these types of movies I am. They're simple, down to Earth and heart warming. Go visit your nearest minor league ballpark, relax and enjoy your surroundings.

I live in Iowa… they are now taking that beloved field into something that nobody recognizes as in that movie.. so watch the movie and appreciate it.. I remember seeing it for first time in the theater and watching grown men with tears in their eyes.. appreciate it

Nice seeing this club respect big legends like this, i mostly followed this club cuz of marek chlup he used to be one of our coaches for Tempo praha, but now that i see the club more and more often im happy i followed.
