In Memory Of Jer Bulsara ❥ Freddie Mercury's mother [1/2]

Her death comes just about 25 years after the passing of her son, Freddie Mercury.
Freddie Mercury’s mother, Jer Bulsara, passed away on Nov. 13 at the age of 94. Kashmira Cooke, Mercury’s sister, confirmed the news of her mother’s death on Sunday (Nov. 20) in a statement to the press, saying that she died in her sleep.
Born in Gujarat, India, in 1922, Jer married husband, Bomi, a former cashier in the British Colonial Office. The couple and their two children Freddie and Kashmira fled to Feltham, Middlessex, during the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964. Jer and Bomi then relocated to Nottingham to be closer to their grandchildren following Freddie's death from AIDs-related pneumonia on November 24, 1991. Bomi died aged 95 in 2003.

Queen’s Brian May paid tribute to his late bandmate’s mother with a touching letter posted on his website: “Jer was a warm and devoted Mum to Freddie, and, like Freddie, always had a strong twinkle in the eye. Although she was also devoted to her husband Bomi, and lived in the Zoroastrian faith as a good Parsee, she had an independent spirit and a strong sense of humour.”
“Of course I knew her for over 50 years, and when I first used to go around to Freddie’s parents’ house in Feltham, only a few yards from where I lived, in our student days, Jer was a busy Mum, full of life and optimism,” May continued. “And even then, fiercely proud of her children, Freddie and Kashmira.”
“It’s probably true to say that Freddie’s father, strongly committed to the Parsee faith, didn’t find it easy that Freddie took the path he did, as a Rock musician, and a fairly irreverent one, at that. Nevertheless the support was always there. But Jer was always a keen follower of our progress as a band, and always came to see us when we played nearby, always with huge enthusiasm. Freddie was very close to his Mum, and, I think, took a mischievous pleasure in trying to shock her,” he said.
“In private moments with us, away from the glare of the spotlights, in latter years Jer was always ready with a cup of tea when we visited, and we were always able to speak about ‘My Freddie' without shyness, feeling that he was not far away,” said May.
"Freddie adored his strong mum. RIP Jer,” Queen’s Roger Taylor commented. Bulsara will have a private Zoroastrian funeral ceremony. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Mercury’s death. The Queen frontman passed on Nov. 24, 1991.

First, Bomi is born in 1908 and Jer in 1922. In early 1946, they have their wedding and had a son in September 1946, initially named Farrokh Bulsara, in 1957, they have a daughter, named Kashmira Cooke. Farrokh changes his name to Freddie Mercury and begans his career as a musician in 1969. At the time, there was a band that consisted from Brian May and Roger Taylor, who met with Mercury and made a band named Queen. In 1971, musician John Deacon joined the band. In 1973, they do their debut song. In 1976, he broke up with his first partner, Mary Austin. In 1980, Mercury grows a mustache and cut most of his hair. In 1985, he performs in the Live Aid concert. He suddenly met Jim Hutton, who became his second partner. In 1987, he is negatively diagnosed with HIV. In 1991, Mercury dies from AIDS complications. In 1997, John Deacon leaves the band after having been frustrated with Mercury's death. In 2003, Bomi Bulsara, Mercury's father, dies. In 2010, Jim Hutton dies from cancer. In 2016, Jer Bulsara died. Cooke is now left alone, who is almost 70 years old.

Jer and Bomi Bulsara were very, very proud of their children, Farrokh Bulsara, who later, changed his name to Freddie Mercury, the legendary, flamboyant, and charasmatic lead singer of Queen. Freddie stole Live Aid, in 1985, at Wembley Stadium. Freddie died just only 6 years after that, on 24th November, 1991, aged just 45, from AIDS. Kashmira Cooke gave her late parents, Jer, and Bomi Bulsara 2 grandchildren, Sam, and Natalie Cooke. Sam looks like Freddie, when he was a young man. Natalie looks like her grandma, Jer Bulsara, and mum, Kashmira Cooke. Jer Bulsara's husband Bomi, died, in 2003. Jer Bulsara, died on 13th November, 2016, 11 days before the 25th anniversary of Freddie's death. Also Freddie Mercury's partner, Jim Hutton, died in 2010. I feel so, so sad for Kashmira Cooke, as she is the only member of the Bulsara living. RIP Freddie, Mr and Mrs Bulsara, and Freddie's partner, Jim Hutton. Mum, Dad, and Son reunited, in God's Kingdom of Heaven. 😥❤
