In rural and tribal areas, many women run small informal microenterprises near their homes due to time, funding, and mobility constraints. Such microenterprises are typically concentrated in temporary trades with lower value-added funds that pay less.
Through its livelihood support and seed money funding, SEESHA has been supporting disadvantaged women and youth to start their own sustainable businesses and progress in their lives. Here is an impact story of Mrs. Mangavarthal from Cuddalore, who was provided a push cart with an iron box to start her own enterprise recently.
