Never thought looking at a beautiful home could feel so profound, like I was staring into the vast universe, but alas, they were only furniture and rooms... I know the music is a heavy part in it, but there is something about harmonious and regal spaces that make you feel close to the universal "divine".

It's like age, every age has its charm. I can see all my beautiful memories flash before me. I thi K this episode especially represented the house so beautifully. The way a home can represent so many different positive things, bot with lots of people in it, or just the homeowner. It does indeed comes across as a Venetian Palazzo with its high ceilings, mouldings, herringbone floors, and the light from that part of the world. To me, its even better than a Palazzo, because its subdued, with none of that ageing vibrant colors and gilding that always makes me feel like I was in the Sistine Chapel: wonderful to visit but uncomfortable to live in. With this space, I can actually see myself living in it. To date, this is the best episode from this excellent channel.

1:27 I think this is a key feature that a lot of homes miss is a sense of scale. Either it feels to big or the space is far too small for the furniture purchased. Another thing is a point made by kita konig is the layout. Most homes have weird, impractical layouts with no flow at all. This is simply an exquisite home!
