I go on a quest to find a piece of history - the Manpawan boat which was bought by an American to sail back to the United States. My mode of transport on this hunt is none other than the best C-segment sedan, the Volkswagen Virtus as it offers exhilarating performance, exceptional comfort and a very fun drive. But today's car manufacturers in india are mainly focusing on CrossOvers/Semi SUV's as today's buyers are most likely going for CrossOvers rather than Sedans. But VW chose to manufacture a sedan today,which many of today's manufacturers aren't. That's what I'm tryna say. City's been in India for past 2 decades in India. But VW had guts for launching a sedan which many of today's manufacturers aren't

@@user-wn6yv9cu1p except for the fact they were too lazy to sell the car. Yeah it was there for a long time but it failed to make an impact (exclude type 1 and 2). Everyone was busy with making buff hatchbacks and calling them "ES YU VEEE"s. So the customers. After indroduction of VAG twins, the whole segment got triggered. (yeah EPC issues and AC issues are there). Now look at the options slavia, virtus, verna( polarising looks but some pep loves it.) and the city (which is surprisingly good). More the competition more the good products.

Indian govt. forced them to ban their old cars like Vento and polo because vw did emmision scandal in 2018.😂 So in alternate of vento and polo they launched virtus with new engine dat meets emmision norms and continued polo with new 1.0 engines but later they discontinued polo too. They are discontinuing their cars and newly launching their alternate models so what revolutionary guts they showed by launching virtus. Honda has been selling city with time to time updates, hyundai also doing the same since vw has left no sedans after discontuing vento and passat so they launched virtus to remain in competition and dat cannot be called as saviour lol😂 where indeed their virtus still sells less than city and verna.
