In search of Interest. Riding to Birmingham.

As part of @CaseyNeistat 's film school, I was tasked with making a spontaneous film. I needed a simple idea, then the challenge was to work out the story as you film.
I've ridden into the centre of Birmingham many times for meetings but I was always in a rush. So I decided I was going to stop every mile and look around to see what I may be missing.
The funny thing is, I didn't realise until I was riding back again, what that really was.

I've always told anyone who's asked that the morning canal commute is the best part of the day and this video is a great way to show it off. I think that New Hall Valley bridge just goes to the golf course 😉.

Splendid video. I commute by bike every day via the Birmingham canal network, it has a massively beneficial affect on my daily life- just can’t believe more people don’t do the same. I almost would like to keep it a secret !

When I worked in Central Brum I often used to ride in on the canal. Most convenient as access to the canal paths were literally 300m from my old house (if that)! It's joyous, apart from the fishermen that seem disappointed to see me along the way and "those" doors at circa 4:50. Can't lie, freaked the hell out of me :p
