IN SESSION with the Matrix MTX4 V2 POLE! 😍

I adore mine..!! Absolutely adore it..! Saw a review prior to it arriving and gulped… fished it on Monday on a snake lake, put it through its paces with some big carp, the biggest been 13lb and they were proper going for it as well. The guy from the tackle shop came and had a hold and a play and was well impressed with it as well… It is rigid and works well on silvers and carp alike… can’t fault it and would recommend it to anyone… Thanks for the video 👍🏻🎣

I am looking to upgrade to the mtx4 later in the year. Would buying a mxt4 replacement section for my current mtx3 be an issue (no3 section)

All sections are interchangeable between MTX poles for both V1 and V2. You’ll be fine.

It’s all about using the knees at longer lengths I use a small block wood udder my foot so it raises my knee a touch for lifting into bites there’s 2 many pleasure anglers giving out wrong information how to handle a Pole correct like stood up in shops at 13 meters

Why would you rename the new range in this way, calling them a V2 when its not a direct revision of the V1 and especially calling the MTX5 a V2 when there's no predecessor? 🤷‍♂️ People will just compare them to the same MTX number version 1's, without realising they should probably be comparing it against the one down, its no wonder they got the feedback they did 🤷‍♂️.......Who's daft idea was that?

Quite simple really...the NEW range of poles are Version 2 -V2...and Just because they have included the 'NEW' MTX4 - not a replacement for the original....matters not. Are you suggesting that they should have called the new MTX V2 5 the 4? What would they then call the 'new' 4? Oh yes, the MTX V2 3.5!

I know the guy from a certain KZbin channel is most likely not flavour of the month at Matrix HQ right now but to be fair to him he has urged all those who were a bit spooked by his review (including myself) of this pole to go and try it for themselves if possible. Opinions are opinions and things like comparisons between poles are purely subjective and not worth the fuss. I’m sure sales figures will be the barometer by which you judge the success of a product. Anyway keep up the good work Matrix. 👍🏼🎣

You made it confusing calling it a mtx4 V2 like it is a follow on from the old one I think that's what people are saying You set such a high standard with the old one and people can't help but think it's a downgrade although it's not because the mtx5 is the new mtx 4 it's just confusing for people

The video yesterday had an error and cut off at 2:32 and it should have been a much longer video so we have to remove the whole video and re export it and upload it again to KZbin… thanks for the feedback regarding the pole.

These poles are not good. Having a matrix sponsored angler test it is not the way to go. Is this pole better than the diawa original tournament pro ? Not a chance. Matrix are absolutely miles behind diawa. People buy these poles because of one person and one person only.

Just imagine us doing some marketing on a new product 😂 we’ve also done the same for other poles in the range, plus rods, reels, floats etc. Rattled… no… but we did get sandwiches for lunch 😂

Why no side views of the pole from distance…. Looked very unwieldy in the breeze to be honest. Need to see the pole at full length striking and missing a bite to see what it’s actually like, not striking into a fish which cushions the rebound of the pole. Bit of a lame review really. Sorry just being honest.

If you watch the video the first 2 mins tells you not to compare it to the original MTX 4 as this is a different pole at a different price point. 😂

@@ifishmatrix so why name it after another pole if it’s different? Doesn’t matter how you dress it up it’s the “MTX4 V2” which is heavier than the old MTX4 so why would people want to buy a heavier pole? I’m not having a dig here, my original post simply stated it was heavier so why bother? Maybe some want a heavier pole but I thought the reason for spending thousands was to get it lighter not heavier. I’m a matrix fan and have a full matrix set up. Actually love matrix products but my personal opinion is “don’t try to fix what isn’t broken” Calling them the “V2” makes people think they are better and lots of reviews saying they ain’t.

@@ifiwas195 all of the poles are improved we just added an extra pole to the range. Best thing to do is pick them up and feel for yourself as 99% of the feedback has been really positive. You always get haters when you launch new products, we never expect anything less unfortunately.
