I have visited here and it is majestic! I could sit and watch the white tiger all day. Listening to the lions sing back and forth is unexplainable! I suggest everyone visit. I’m going to visit again soon!

To Karen Douglas...the cats have a den area that is concrete but they also have access to large grassy play areas with pools and platforms.

I pray for a day when places like this are no longer necessary. In the meantime thank you for saving these beautiful cats. I wish I had money to help out. I do hope you get all you need to take wonderful care of them all and rescue more in need.

@Elizabet Adams. - You don't need $$ to help protect and save exotic animals from cruel horrific lives CAGED. Start writing and campaigning to STOP ALL STATES from allowing the private ownership (including Private Zoos & Marine Parks) of ALL exotic animals in the US. Many countries World wide have done it already.

Godbless ya’all for taking care of them.

It is very rare that I become aware of an EXOTIC Animal rescue organisation that actual care about caring for the wildlife. CONGRATULATION and WELL DONE for the remarkable job you are doing for these rescued animals. It is nice to see that the rescued cats have a safe home to live. out their days. That they have water to swim in, some essential "ENRICHMENT", clean accommodation ( I HATE the word CAGE - NO wildlife should ever be caged for human enjoyment. This is painful, cruel and inhumane). Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it. Mark Twain (1835 - 1910) Source: "The Lowest Animal" The sooner all US states wake up and bans the owning of ALL exotic animals the better.......................... “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ― Mahatma Gandhi The US" FAILS" being a GREAT Nation with MORAL progress because of the way they treat so many animals, NOT just exotic animals & marine wildlife, but domestic animals, livestock and their own wildlife. I still weep for so many exotic animals caged and privately owned in the US by irresponsible humans...... three examples 1. ZANESVILLE, Ohio Oct 2011 -- Law enforcement officers Wednesday shot and killed nearly 56 wild animals -- including tigers, lions, bears, and wolves (including 18 endangered Bengal Tigers) -- released by the owner TERRY THOMPSON of a private animal park who then committed suicide. abcnews.go.com/US/zanesville-animal-massacre-included-18-rare-bengal-tigers/story?id=14767017 2. www.wynnewoodzoo.org. Thank heaven UNETHICAL Joe Exotic no longer owns the so called Zoo, but I believe the new owner, Jeff Lowe is NO BETTER. It is a shame people still support this Zoo by going there and with donations. Today there are more tigers in captivity than in the wild, and breeding remains a major point of contention between conservationists and private zoo owners like Joe & Lowe. The little 16-acre zoo had ballooned to hold more than one thousand animals (for comparison, the Dallas Zoo, has similar # of animals, sits on 106 acres). I HOPE EVERYONE WHO EVER VISIT THIS ZOO AND/OR DONATED $$$ TO IT, FEELS EXTREMELY GUILTY FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE CRUEL ANIMAL ABUSE THAT WAS INFLICTED ON SO MANY ANIMALS. Jury Finds Animal Abuser ‘Joe Exotic’ Guilty of All Charges - He may get 20 years in Prison. Sentencing hearing is expected to be in early 2020. www.texasmonthly.com/articles/joe-exotic-a-dark-journey-into-the-world-of-a-man-gone-wild/ 3. Another Exotic rescue organisation bought exotic cats that were destined for death at the hands of fur traders-28 more in 1994, 22 in 1995. And the US people allowed this to happen (exotics being MURDERED for their FUR).

OMG I can't believe you feed the tigers by just opening the door with two full-grown tigers standing there and you're holding their food. That looks like a disaster waiting to happen, I hope you have upgraded facilities now so that you don't have to put yourself and them at risk. It looks like a wonderful place and a wonderful mission. Thank you for helping these innocent, abandoned animals, that should not have been bred in the first place, and giving them a better home

I love what you are doing, but I wonder why it appears that some live on cement? Isn't that bad for their bodies?
@richardrobinette29145 жыл бұрын
All the enclosures have grass and/or access to a grass playground. But the cement stays cooler in the shade and when it's hosed down. It also makes it easier to keep their enclosures clean.
