I remember, waaaay back, when my buddy told me about this band that consisted of "5 crazy teenage Indians" (I know Native American is probably more appropriate). He said I should check them out because he knew I loved thrash. I asked if they were any good. He more or less said he couldn't distinguish if they were really good or really bad, as it sounded like a wall of noise to him. I remember being blown away, not only by the intensity but also the skill level for being so young.....especially Andy Galeon - what a little maniac! He was 15 when the Ultra Violence was released! Too bad he's not still with them, but no disrespect to Will, he's done a fantastic job. Rob is truly a uniquely gifted guitar player and Mark is a true metal warrior, relentless to the end and always captivates any crowd with his ferocious intensity! So enlightening to see them smiling, looking and sounding good, after all those years! Great interview - Keep up the great work!

Jan Patrick Lucas they're of filippino descent actually (the original lineup when they operated as cousins). But yeah I agree, great freaking band and are better than ever!!!!!

I've seen this interview a lot and every time I found myself laughing along with Mark and Rob. They both have been a BIG part of my life for over 30 years now and I'm glad that I got to see Death Angel last August when they came to Wales(UK). I have to say that they are very nice guys and also very easy to get along with, but also easy to talk too. Down to earth and a real joy knowing that they will always be in my life.
