The Robinson family is my prayers tonight as they mourn the matriarch of their family. Craig and Michelle, my heart is with you as you honor your mother just after celebrating Mother's Day almost two weeks ago. Your mom is now with her beloved husband. Rest in peace to them both.

This is what a true american family looks like. They happen to be Black, and there are many others like them around the country--blk, asian, latino, native american and white. Ethics, family, values. Bravo to Mr. and Mrs. Robinson for raising smart kids with huge hearts. Passion and purpose.

I have lived all my life in black neighborhoods, and proud to say I have learned SO much about black culture in America, and how the race have been screwed by the system. I am Hispanic and I know all my neighbors, they look out for me and my family, we live in bad neighborhoods because the system says so, not all the houses are bad, I want to say for the most part all are brick built, its the HATE created by MEDIA, the SYSTEM. Black Americans are so accepting to any culture. I am not that other race who will support HATE, just not going to. In another 20 years this country will be filled with more immigrants, so all this hate is really uncalled for, seriously think of all your children and STOP HATE, if you continue to promote hate, GUESS WHAT, your children will be minorities in the future, and will be victim of it as well. JUST STOP IT !

To Michelle and Craig and the Obama Family, Thank you for sharing your Mother, Marion Robinson, with America and the world. We so needed to know and see the strength of a Black woman in the family, in the community, in society and around the world. Thank you Marion for being the example of God's love that we all needed to see. Your torch has been psssed and we will gladly take the torch to carry it forward to future generations.

My opinion might be out of context and controversial but here we go . First of this family is a high quality people!! I have met alote of fine quality african americans that im so in love with their stories of upbringing just true inspiration. The have values goals and a pourpose in life. As a latino induvidual i feel very close connected to these famielies as "we" all have that in common. Not just latinos, asians, natives , from all races . But the sad thing is this core of famaly values is on a huge decline in America!! Thos type of fine quality hard working educated individuals only apply to last century folks. New generations are too focus on the easy low quality way. No morals ,no values, no EDUCATION. All they care about is money buying expensive items name brands lisent to hip hop imitate these so called "idols".. so saddened at least for me that we are loosing all these high quality individuals that made this country a better place for us all. I have collected numerous stories from fine people like this family that have helped changed the face of this country with out flexing who they are or how they contributed..I really hope who ever reads this if they have kids raise your kids to be fine quality indivudials like this family and not the trash content generating that brings no substance to our society. Less social media more books more study more education we are becoming a country of idiots
