There was and anime version of this called Pacific rim the black the anime took place somewhere in Australia there multiple Kaiju breaches open and attack major cities in Australia character's were 2 kids I forget but there was a brother and a sister whom where rescued by there parent's there's parents were jeager pilots they pilot a jeager called hunter veritgo a jeager mix with gipsy dangers nuclear reactor arc with large ice canons on the back then there were drop off at a jeager base there's they wait for there parent's until they become teens then they founda jeager Left behind but wasn't destroyed the name of the jeager is called Atlas destroyer I can't explain much because I don't want to spoiled it for you guys but there were 2 seasons in the anime version season 1 and 2 but the anime is deleted
