It's so wonderful seeing your garden flourish, I'm not much of a gardener but I do enjoy seeing your garden go from tiny seedlings to towering plants😊.

Garden is so amazing! My onions and leeks haven’t done anything either. But potatoes, carrots, beans and peas are rocking it! I love to see Grace out there helping. She is a beautiful girl for sure! Thank you, Mrs. Volfie!

Love watching your garden grow, but OMG the weeds would drive me crazy. Look into getting a stirrup hoe. It's super easy to use and removes the weeds from all the pathways. I mulch all our beds heavily with grass clippings or shredded paper which really helps to keep the weeds at bay. Leeks is one of my all time favorites to grow. We have a 4 foot by 6 foot bed that we only harvest the largest leeks. Leave all the smaller leek and let them go to flower. We let them drop seeds and they grow as a perennial for us. In the winter we just top the bed with some compost and shredded leaves. We've had the bed going for a good ten years now.

Wow! Garden is amazing! It’s a lot of work and the weather has been awful for garden work. And very hard on the plants too! You will have cukes up to your eyes! I’m sure you have delicious recipes for pickles which I hope you share. Take it slow dear Bev…slow and steady wins the race! God bless🌻

Next year try using landscape cloth in the beds. Acre's Homestead uses that and she rarely has any weeds amongst her fifty or so beds. Would make it so much easier on you Bev and your health.

My son lets his garden grow wild like yours, only because he is very busy, and he always gets more produce than me. I keep mine weeded and pretty, but his is wild and wonderful. Any garden that produces is a blessing!! In all ways.

My tomatoes are doing horribly this year. I don't know if it's too hot. This has been a tough year for a lot of people growing tomatoes. Thank you for your video. Your gardens look great!

Your garden looks great Bev and it’s easier to weed after it rains for me too. Maybe grow your onions in a kiddie pool. It’s rained so much here I don’t think the corn is going to do well this year, I might have to go to the farmers market to get enough for the freezer. I still have plenty canned corn, beans, carrots and potatoes. I’m going to catch onions on sale and just chop a bunch and put in my freezer for cooking with. Have a very blessed day Bev ❤️🤗

I'm just getting my free 4 heads if cauliflower,1bag red onions, and 1 bag of carrots, canned up. I got 2pints each diced carrots and potatoes for pot pie and 3 pints of sliced carrots for stew and about 8 pints of California blend mixed veggies. It sure will be nice have cheese sauce over them or for soups. And tomorrow I will be canned meatloaves in widemouth pints for winter meals. Banana pudding and bread pudding from the free buns.

Please please please please please do not can meatloaf. You may not have gotten sick from it in the past . Buckhannon raw packed meat is a No-No it gets more dangerous exponentially when you add other foods into it.

Wow your garden beds really filled out. Have you tried to grow onions from onion sets. I grow onions from the onion sets and they work well for me. When I did from seeds no luck with them. Good night God Bless 🙏❤🙏

The tomato problems are as far south as Alabama. I've never seen this happen. I can only surmise the weather as the culprit. But, I'm hoping, I'll get some tomatoes. Thank God for last year's harvest of tomatoes . 😊

@@OurHalfAcreHomestead already ridiculous in my area. With tasteless watered rubbery texture fruits. So, use yours sparingly I'm also glad I watched your video on "tomato powder", and how to dehydrate them. Do you can see I didn't put all my eggs in one basket.. I'm good right now...but, if this happens again next year😳
