I cook and my mom is proud of me but my dad is very sexist and said only women can cook but I proved him wrong and I am now really good at cooking I took a cooking class and now my dad is also proud of me and apologized and now im very happy you also helped me with this because when I watched you cook on the show I got hungry lol and wanted to make something to eat and I did that ALOT so in a way you helped me with getting better at cooking thank you :).

That was my Mamaw too. She always had a pan of cornbread or biscuits along with something like chicken & dumplings, fried chicken or just a pot of beans for anyone that might come by. And there was always someone that stopped by! I learned to make her biscuits, cornbread (many things) when I was a young girl. My children, through the years, love it all! Plus I've picked up my own ways of doing things and other dishes from different cultures being in the Navy. Been seriously cooking (i'm the oldest of 6) for family since I was 11. My mom couldn't cook so I learned from my Mamaw and cooked at home!

Miss Kay I wanna be like you when I grow up! My two young boys always tease me and call me Miss Kay and say I kind of look like you (so cute!!!) They want me to watch all of your KZbin videos and learn all of your recipes. My oldest wanted me to make your banana pudding. I don't even like pudding, but your recipe was delicious! I hope you are able to make more cooking videos because you are an inspiration and can teach us women a thing or two! My mama always put our leftovers on the stove and they were placed there for anyone. Many visitors would eat those cold biscuits. She and my father let anyone that needed help stay with us . We had a family of five living with us in a building in our back yard for about a year.

it made me feel bad when she said she lost her dad when she was 14 because even though they make us mad sometimes we cant hate them because my best friend lost her dad so at least some of us have dads and sure my dad makes me mad but like i said we cant hate them because if it wasnt for them we wouldnt be walking on this earths ground.So the next time you see your dad or your mom thank them for all they have done for you.When i was baby i locked myself in the car on a very hot summer day and my mom had to break open the window to save my liife before i would dehydrate.
