I feel like I've known y'all for about 25 years or so, maybe more. I'm a retired police/K9 officer too, and took Romans 11 to heart. I'm retired at 46 because of my health. I've seen a lot in my life, but I still need an old man to look to. - Phil looks to me like he may have something in common with me. I'm Native American. He sure looks to me like he has a good bit of the bloodline too. That helps me be comfortable with him, and I kind of look to him for that part of me that's missing now. I was blessed to have a good father in a home that wasn't broken, I wish everyone was. - Btw, that's a nice beard you have. Mine is just short scruff. I can't get past the itchy stage. I trim it with hair clippers so it doesn't get too short lol. I don't have to look clean shaven anymore since I'm out of uniform.

Hello to all my brothers and sisters! I agree with just about everything these good guys say, EXCEPT using Canola Oil. It is Loaded with glyphosate-thanks to Monsanto, now Bayer. Prob the must unhealthy oil you can eat! Remember, no oil is necessary for burgers, unless you are using LEAN meat, there is ALWAYS enough fat from the burger. 😉 A better option would be Coconut oil, (unrefined) or even Olive oil. But, yes, peanut oil is great! But, seriously I say, consider switching to Coconut oil for all your cooking needs, it has incredible health properties, and no need to feel guilty if you like fried foods, it is actually HEALTHY to eat. Stir fry your veggies in it, and skip the butter or margerine, you will LOVE the taste it gives to all veggies 😊Do your research, and may God continue to bless all of us. Thank you to The Robertson's for sharing!! We love ya's! 💕

You don't look like you stop after 3 or 4 burgers, for the sake of global warming and possibly throwing the earth into an uncontrollable death wobble, just say no to the burger, you can do it fluffy, now repeat after me, i will wobble away from the burgers, i will not have thoughts of killing skinny people eating burgers, after some weight loss i will be able to wipe my ass easier, and save the planet.

I should have known it's just Phil flattening the meat and throwing it in the skillet, haha, gotta love him. Looks like a freddy's burger♥️

I had a an old country boy friend who did the same, but swore it was cooking them in butter that did the trick, and salt and pepper.

Mr. Robertson, These burgers were amazing! So simple and the key is really the “cast iron” and the oil. Not sure if it compares if you do another skillet type. Anyway, thanks for sharing. God Bless!

I usually always add diced onion and garlic and Worcestershire sauce and seasoning first and cook in bacon grease if I have a kitchen and what not.

Thick burgers had their short lived place in history. Everyone eventually gravitates to the thinner, crispier ones over time. Much more personality.

My husband is much less hairy than the Robertson men. But he is a man and knows he's a man. I know he's a man. And I am safe in his arms. Anything less is sad for me to know that some woman is not getting what she should. When he prays, I know God hears his prayers. When he makes a decision, I know he put me and our family in it. The new males that need bro time and toys like big screen TVs and watch sports all weekend while most of their family has to do something without him. Don't have a family if they aren't your number one. It is rare that those type of males do put sports and hobbies at the end. And pets. They all want the latest cute dog or exotic pets, and they r farther down. And spending time with their parents isn't an option.
