I bought an "Irish Penny Whistle" a few years ago and learned how to play the songs "Misty Mountains Cold" from the Hobbit and the theme song from the beginning of the Lord o the Rings, An Unexpected Journey (the first movie in that trilogy). Watching this video made me want to start playing it again and made want to learn some more tunes.

Was hunting yesterday for wild goats, and ironically as I was up there I was thinking to myself about how the mountains teach us about discipline, perseverance, determination, grit & endurance. Mentally, physically and spiritually, and ironically just as I brought this up and was typing this you mention the flow. Flow is incredible aye man, I can tell ur quite self aware of your consciousness.

I used to work 100+ hour stressful weeks as a producer. Whenever I had free time, I'd go to Yosemite and hike Half Dome. There's something about those mountains that make all of your problems seem small. You meet cool people on the way up and the view from the top is enlightening. I'd always feel energized when I hiked back down.

"They do not teach in concepts or in words, But in the rising sun, and the song of the birds." Well written my friend! And after all this artistic beauty, and all of wonderfully balanced design in which we have a place, so many still deny the wordless declaration boldly proclaimed by every part of this good earth. There is a Designer. There is a Creator. And He is good.

Tom I love your channel! You are a major inspiration to me. I love the woods and mountains. I grew up in the mountains of Wyoming and have been away for so long and this poem really resonates with me. I truly needed this video at this moment because I just lost my Grandmother and she loved the mountains as much as I do. Thank you again for everything you do on your channel.

In my past lies 3 years of enjoying the Sierra Nevada Mountains, canyons, rivers , and all. Here, I am back in my native Great Lakes area. The Eastern woodlands, rolling prairies, large lakes, smaller lakes, ponds, large rivers, smaller rivers, and chuckling streams. Bald eagles. wild turkeys, ducks, geese, white tails, cotton tails, a random cougar, and etal live here. Mother Nature REALLY lives here. She exhilarates and relaxes me. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
