If you are asked to produce an ID card issued by the government as proof of eligibility for the grant, why the need for extensive verification? Are they checking to see if the ID cards are bogus? Isn’t an ID card sufficient proof for people to collect monies at remittance counters or banks? What is this ‘verification’ process?
