QUALITYYYYYYYYYYYY ! Altough I don't think my 75 was built - back in 2000 - with the same metiques attention to detail , it still runs and looks great . Proud to own a Rover ! Love from the Netherlands . ❤❤❤

You mean a Longbridge Austin 75 .I loved mine too but did'nt have one bit of auntie in the build ,in fact it was really a near relation to an Abingdon Wolseley/ Magnet with an airbrush of BMW development.

Rover created a handsome car, even now they still look imposing and drive beautifully!

I had a 1971 3500 V8 . Still had bolt on wings but severe corrosion under the sills. Great car though. Used to leave everything on the motorway in the dust.

That chauffeur at the end was not up to scratch, or very nearly was a few times. No external mirrors on the car, so pulling away from the kerb, was nearly his first.

You look at modern cars and you see faults in them ,when there new but not in them times it wasn't all quick quick greed greed it was long service life and quality, not something we see in today motors all plastic clips built in rattle cheap fake wood proper crap. Rover was a real true marque of English superiority and craftsmanship, a shame such a terrible loss brings a tear to my eye,

@@andreas1289 yes totally insane, it's a petrol station not gas, gas isn't a petroleum product, a gas is a gas it's gas but a vapour from petrol isn't a gas. , Older cars did way more miles than modern cars , maybe in your country you need a mechanic to sort out broken issue, but not in the UK, cars from the 40s 50s 60s English cars like a wolsely a Humber a jaguar a rover armstrong siddely triumph etc those cars would do way more miles with the correct maintenance. Simplicity is the key to miles not technology.

Narcissists instead of leaders in our Government and in Business. If the UK had leaders we would have a thriving economy and no mass nor illegal immigration.
