I absolutely love deep dives like this - not only into history, but gear. Thanks for spotlighting a phenomenal guitarist that not enough people appreciate.

Ian man, you are such an underrated guitarist. From your riffs to your atmospheric fills, you always set the tone for the songs perfectly. Your riff near the end of Beck + Call that repeats twice during the hook is one of the greatest combination of notes I have ever heard. When I think of my favorite guitarists you come to mind with Page and Gilmour. Also happy I got the chance to meet you and grab a photo in Niagara at Jackaon Triggs. All the best to you man!

Hey Brother, just kinda curious about something ~ I was wondering if we're somehow distantly related. The spelling is the same so I'm sure your original kin is is from Scotland. By that aspect I'm pretty sure we have a little of the same blood. Just the same, I used to be a real good player. My hands have been crushed and burned so, can't play even close to my younger years. I've written quite a few originals and ifn yer intrested, I can let you check a few out. Be nice to get your opinion. Us Docherty's are born musicians. Holla back couz.
