To be more direct, the hormonal changes from menopause can affect sex drive, but that change can sometimes be an increase rather than a decrease! Or if you’re in media, apply for production internships. That gets you in TV land. Screenwriters are in LA generally. That’s where TV is made. So I think it makes sense to get in those communities. Or apply for writer’s fellowships where you meet other writers and build connections. Or both! Both would help you get your foot in the door and gain experience. Who knows where you’ll end up?
