I think the "inabakumori vibe" comes from his usage of the specific notes in the melodies; he likes 1, 4, 5, 7, 9 a lot and uses those quite frequently in his melodies. I'm gonna need to study it closer though

Is it just me, or did the channel banner change? I don't think two of the three music notes were white before this or the last song "Tokoshizume". [And like in Tokoshizume, the girl's eyes are closed for most of the song, but then open at a climactic part. In this song, it's at 2:56.] [I should've said this earlier, but I find it interesting that this song uses "boku" instead of "atashi". Lost Umbrella is the only other song I know of that does this.] Anyways, this song is similar to that of Post Shelter and Lagtrain, having a somewhat happy tone while also being one of the longer songs that has been uploaded. inabakumori's newer songs are using a new trend of having the right guitar being more rhythmic and having the left guitar play more grounded. This is especially apparent in the chorus sections (0:46, 2:05, 2:55), where the right guitar is playing a rhythmically more complex part while the left is playing along with the chord progression. [This then goes into the second part of the chorus, where both guitars are playing in frequent short bursts while a high-pitched synth is playing. The vocals also have more reverb, perhaps trying to imitate someone calling out for something? The section as a whole conveys a confused and lost feeling.] [1:32 brings the literal meaning to "Sinktank" as RIME's pitch shifts down. It sounds very dissonant, like how a burden may drag you down.] One of my favorite sections is at 1:51. The sudden impact followed up with the swells give me goosebumps. It gives a feeling of surprise and mystery. [To me, it feels like something very unexpected happened with the girl and someone else.] Probably the most unique section is 2:19, where the time signature changes into a 5/4 and sometimes 6/4? Either way, I get a feeling of being lost as a lot of happening in this section. [The main melody playing in this part can't seem to decide whether it's happy, sad, or anything really. Once that stops though (2:42), the song takes a more hopeful turn though there still is a feeling of uncertainty.] The background is noteworthy because this illustration by Nukunuku has the most colors used compared to any other illustrations he made for inabakumori. It seems that the two girls in the back are more faded, perhaps standing as a memory. The pedestrian signal in the bottom right gives me an idea of how this story continues, but the outcome doesn't look pretty... [Note: All text is brackets is text I've added after some re-listening and finding more details.] Overall, this is a pleasant track to listen to.
