Recipe for Danish Hotdogs
Serves 4, 5min prep, 15min total
Ingredients:
• 4 pork sausages - as long as possible
• Savoury pickles
• Mild mustard such as Dijon
• Tomato ketchup
• Fried shallots
• Red onion
• Red wine vinegar
• 4 hotdog buns
Directions:
• Dice the onion and give a light drizzle of red wine vinegar, then leave in a bowl for around 15 min.
• Grill the sausages on medium heat until browned all over
• Grill the buns for around 60 seconds on medium heat until lightly toasted.
• Give a generous layer of mustard and ketchup on the buns, then add the sausage and load it generously up with the diced onion, fried shallots and sliced pickles

Nice video and interpretation of a hot dog, 1 basic thing you were missing in the hot dog is remoulade.. Remolade is a dip we use a lot in Denmark. p.s. usually only children eat red sausages. ;)

Your'e 'the only person in MY world that uses Globus pickled cucumbers.I can't get enough of them. You can drink what ever you like and how much you like whilst filming, because that's what I would do.. In Denmark we dont cut the bread wide open. You make a cut in the bread and put the sausage in it. Then you put everything on top of the sauge. It gets less messy. . Also the remoulade
