I've got an access to the alpha version of the upcoming metroidvania Inayah - Life After Gods. I didn't like it.

Was it something particular you didn't like? Story, artstyle, gameplay? Or is the game not that interesting when compared to other Metroidvanias you've played, like, say, Nine Sols?

Have you played Afterimage? It's another hand drawn metroidvania with stunning visual and, from what I've played and seen, has pretty nice bosses design.
