Lol, the beginning was pretty goofy, but man, did it hit hard by the end! Love it! The vocals were all very cool, and the whisper with the beat pad was 👌 If you decide to do any more tutorial videos, this is the song to break down! So many cool things happening. Would be cool to just hear you discuss the creative process, too, and what it looks like getting from zero to this. I appreciate you sharing your favorite tools and apps in the other comments. I'm still new to loopy but loving it already. The possibilities are endless. The only problem with this song was how it ended (too soon after the drop)! I'm sure there's got to be a way to use follow actions to break the song down so you don't have to just fade it out or cut. I think that would be a little more satisfying personally. Keep up the great work! This was my favorite one yet!

Thank you Joe! I got them both from Amazon, the keyboard stand is made by Pyle and it works great. The iPad holder is made by iBolt, it's the only one I could find that worked with this specific setup, but it's not a perfect holder.

Thanks!! I'd love to share :) The keyboard and and marimba at the beginning are Numa, an amazing beautiful free app. The synth and bass are Fabfilter Twin3. The synth is "coppersync" and the bass is "8 ohh 8". Amazing stuff, right?!

Nice jam! And an impressive Loopy Pro screen too :). Do you find you're able to use one basic LP template for lots of different jams or is each customized? Also, what do you use for vocal effects and/or processing? For some reason, I'm not yet able to get the vocal quality I want - seems overpowered by the other (percussion, drums, and bass) tracks. Thanks!

Thanks! I have to make a different template for every song, it's a lot of work but I can't get it to work with only one template, I have so many specific follow actions and customizations, and I also don't have a strong enough iPad to have ALL of the instruments and effects in one project. It's a constant learning progress for me with sound, including vocals. I can suggest maybe playing with the volumes (lowering the instruments, raising the vocal mic), and trying to play with the EQ of the instruments, cutting off a little bit where you want the vocals to be. In this song I have a little bit of reverb and a tiny bit of delay on my vocal mic, and then I have two effects that I play with (bring in and out, change the settings while singing) and those are Bleass Dragonfly and Eventide Blackhole. I hope this helps 🙏

@@inbar.heyman Thanks so much. That totally makes sense since your performances are so elaborate. I appreciate the tips on vocals. I found an old TC Helicon pedal that has a nice preamp in it, which seems to help. I'm also going to continue to work on dialing in the EQ as well as maybe add a bit of compression to see if I can get the vocals out in front more. Love what you did with the Dragonfly and the Blackhole - sounds great!

A 9th generation basic iPad, 64gb (9th generation is fine, but I highly recommend buying a lot more storage than that if you can afford it)
