@@marcmy well yes, and no. it needs a Quake 2 it never got, quake 5 could very well be more stroggos, yes Quake 1 and 2, doom, keen and Wolfenstein all share a universe but the quake 2 we got was only named quake 2 for marketing alone. Honestly I would love a campaign for Quake champions where you can play through the Episodes as any champion you want. Maybe revisit some Q1 levels but after time has past.

To me, it always made sense that QC's campaign would be short storries for each character, so BJ might find Nazi teleportation tech, Ranger trying to survive after Quake 1, Athena doing some Quake 2 stuff, Anarki taking on cyber street thugs, Sorlag hunting big monsters, etc...
