1. Get your daily steps in. Walk. Get 6000+ steps per day. 2. Focus on quality sleep. Shorter and/or lower quality sleep dramatically impacts T levels. 3. Stop watching porn/fapping all day. It doesn't help with anything in life. Trust me. 4. Balance your blood sugar. 5. Don't overdo endurance training/exercise. Favor HIIT/weight training. 6. Support DHEA levels. 7. Glandular extracts.

Thank you so much for sharing this information! I am a medical Doctor Who runs a hormone optimization clinic for men and women in Colorado. I am absolutely blown away and petrified at how many teenagers and men in their 20s I am seeing with disastrously low total and free testosterone levels. I am 100% in agreement with the environmental toxin model you have put forward. I can confirm this through multiple publications as well. I think the biggest shock of all is that other physicians and politicians have no idea that this species ending event is occurring right underneath our noses!!

I just want to say thanks to doctors like you who run these clinics. I'm 34, was getting test levels in the 200-400 ng/dl range, and was told that it was "normal" by my PCP even a few years ago (despite it being in the normal range for someone elderly). I'm a month into TRT and it's literally been life changing- I have more drive in life, deal with stress better, anxiety is greatly reduced, and motivating myself to do nearly anything is just easier.

@@Arzosoth what most doctors won’t tell you, because many don’t know themselves, is that the “normal range” is constantly being changed because its based of random sampling. Normal AST/ALT level 30-40 years ago were dramatically lower than today’s “normal” levels. What changed? 40 years ago 80+% of the population didn’t suffer from metabolic syndrome & fatty liver. Dr Robert Lustig has some great lectures on this issue. Girls & boys are suffering from precocious puberty at alarming rates! Rather than asking why so many 6-8 yr old girls are menstruating they just lowered the age of “normal” onset of puberty. Problem solved! Nothing to see here, move along!!

I love the way you present in-depth reviews of serious scientific studies. Never epidemiological stuff, but randomized control studies. I'm 71 years old, 142 pounds, can benchpress 140% of my weight, I can do 100 pull-ups in four sets and 140 push-ups in five sets within an hour. I have been carnivore for three years. My testosterone has risen from the mid 200s to the mid 800s. My typical routine is: at the gym, one hour of weightlifting via the Charles Poliquin method alternating with the Doug McGuff method. Sauna for 20 minutes while breathing with the Wim Hof method. Warm shower (used to take a cold shower until I read James dinicolantonio's work). Play tennis or golf, return home for breakfast around 1 o'clock: eggs and bacon or steak or sausage--followed by a whey protein (Hlthcode) shake and some macadamia nuts. Dinner is usually hamburger patties or steak or sliced London broil or ham. Supplements: before workout I take pre-workout, BCAAs, creatine, collagen. Also desiccated beef organs, heart, testicles, and beef fat gel capsules. Also, nitric oxide tablets, burnt charcoal capsules, and boron. I try to be outside at sunrise, and spend half an hour outside at mid day.

I’m coming from 430 pounds to around the 250 mark (I haven’t weighed myself in three months) the time frame is from March 2020 to now. The biggest changes stemmed from diet and exercise but my vice was liquor, once I cut that (not the easiest at my level) the whole game changed. Weight loss multiplied, Testosterone skyrocketed, and physique (muscles/cuts) came out of fucking nowhere. I’ve never seen my body like this ever. And with virtually no cardio, all functional, compound movements. I don’t even really use the machines at the gym, I’m always on the field pushing sleds, flipping tires, tossing medicine balls etc. I went from the fat guy in the gym to the guy, the guys and ladies not only congratulate but come to for advice…wild. I make up my own workouts and movements just come. I’m not bragging it just sort of happened, now the trainers are eyeing some of my workouts….🙏🏿 idk 🤷🏿

You're right. Ethanol (and fructose) are very lipogenic. They're broken down almost exclusively by the liver and the excess energy that the liver cannot utilise for its own metabolism, it converts to fat through de-novo lipogenesis. That fat is stored in the liver and anywhere else it can go: around organs, in muscle etc. It then worsens insulin sensitivity, which makes the body produce more and more insulin, and high insulin levels inhibit fat breakdown, also known as lipolysis.

As a 19 y/o who got down to 55 ng/dl total T levels due to body dysmorphia from the fitness industry and recovered I will drop a few tips. Just my own 2 cents. 1-if you're already lean, stop excessive cardio, IF, low carb, veganism, etc. These are all stressor on the body. At a certain level of leanness your body does become more fragile to a certain extent. 2- If you're overweight take up one or two of these stressor along with resistance training. Your body is understressed and needs catalysts to boost your hormonal profile. Again just my .02 cents from a recovered orthorexic exercise addict.

I'm a 32 year old male and I just had my testosterone check recently and it was well within normal healthy levels. Some of the strategies I've used (scienced based) are: 1. Excersize / healthy life style, and weigh management is extremely important. For testosterone, specifically heavy lifting with the lower body is critical. There are studies that show a 1200% natural increase in testosterone in athletes that regularly completed their one rep max of deadlift (about 3 or 4 times per week using heavy weight). That is a temporary spike, but when done regularly it will result in an major overall increase in your baseline testosterone. 2. Get enough sleep and rest. This is when your body will have the best chance at producing testosterone. 3. Avoid exposure to plastics, especially in food and NEVER cook or microwave anything with plastics (dishes, cups, plates, ect.). People underestimate the effects of plastic and specifically the phalites in the plastics and how they mimic estrogen, causing a decress in testosterone. The drop in testosterone is directly correlated to the increase in plastic production and use. 4. Get enough vitamin d (supplement or get healthy sun exposure if you live somewhere where there is that option). About 70% of all people are vitamin d decificnt and vitamin d is a precursor to sex hormones. 5. Reduce stress (take walks, spend time outdoors, meditate, rest, reduce general stress stimuli, get support if needed). 6. This last one might be controversial, but... Get enough sex with a partner you love (if able) and if not able, masturbate. Why? Sexual activity does increase testosterone (even masturbation). Studies have shown this. They've even found an increase in testosterone just from thinking about sex. The reason this might be controversial is because it brings up the porn issue. You dont need porn to masturbate, but personally, i haven't seen evidence that porn used sparingly is going to destroy your testosterone levels anyway. What i have seen are young men (personal friends of mine) going on ridiculous strict no-fap & no porn strategies that eventually resulted in them losing ALL interest in sex and women. My estimation is that that is worse than masturbation and limited porn use
@slopedarmor
@slopedarmor Жыл бұрын
Just dont watch porn for 20 hours a week like i sometimes did. On the MPMD channel I saw a limited study with data to show that testosterone will go up on the 7th day of no fap but go back to base level after that. Maybe it could be ideal to have 1 fap session per week, who knows.

Great to see this discussed, and also calling out how bad porn is! (Be careful, speaking against porn can get you called far-right and/or anti-Semitic). For your question at the end about what we're doing for testosterone, I recall an old analogy from the late Charles Poliquin. It's not so much about what we do for this, like trying to make an aerodynamic speedo or swimming cap for .01 extra results, and more about avoiding things that crash test, so not wearing weights/holding bricks while swimming. This would be like saying no to harmful chemicals in the food and environment, and to frame from the positive - choosing pure foods and staying strong! I see something that says "links to research", but can't see any links (it looks wonky, so not sure if it's my browser or something). I'd have to look at that 'step study', because that seems more like a correlating factor and proxy for saying active people vs being at a desk and most likely computer. For example, later you talked about doing HIT over aerobics, which I endorse and promote as well, but if it was really about steps, then doing those steps any which way would be good (and it's not).

Being called far-right or anti-Semitic for being anti-porn? Could possibly be labelled as conservative, very religious or old fashioned, from the far-right or even a prude. @@ssadelaidian3811 "But being labelled as anti-Semitic sounds like a stretch." Absolutely! All of the examples you referred to are happening in some way, but the highlighted quote/part is what I'm referring to. I think that has happened a few times, and in 2019 there was a case someone said something like they 'hate incest porn' or hate the trend in that (I'm the no porn at all camp, though at least that is a step in a better direction). And a PornHub exec said it's just an anti-sem conspiracy theory, and the original commenter replied saying 'what are you talking about', and that came out of nowhere and why can't he say incest is gross and on and on... So the whole thing spiraled from there and I later heard about it on a podcast. Hence all these memes about anything and everything being anti-sem, and beyond. Before I get labelled anything, my take on addictions goes back to the parable about letting 'he who has no sin (of that kind) cast the first stone), being about a town lynching a prostitute, but most of the guys bought her services! To bring back to the health channel, an example would be not blaming junk (food) producers, and more look at those buying things.

One day two Danish policemen showed up at my workplace and dragged me into my bosses office to interrogate me. Hadn't it been for my understanding boss and my explanations, I would have lost my (amazing) job. I "escaped" without arrest but a 300 dollar fine. Shouldn't that actually increase hormone levels, similar to, lets say SSRI, that increase serotonin levels by blocking receptors? Just a thought, I'm aware that this is a very simplistic and mechanistic way to think about it .. Other question: are there any good quantitative studies regarding BPA & Co? Which levels are dangerous, which are not? What are the absorption rates .. how much BPA (or BPB etc) is actually passing from the bottle into the water? I don't know what it is I must be a freak or something. I never really paid much attention in my younger life about what I ate because I probably ate whatever I felt like eating. But I have to my mother much credit for feeding me the right kind of food. I grew up on liver and onions, chicken and lots of vegetables. I really don't understand today's youth because I grew up riding bikes going on hikes with Friends just doing the normal things teenagers used to do. Yes I worked a full-time job driving a 18-wheeler for 32 years. I got away from the normal physical activities that I enjoyed when I was younger. But I always ate well because I cooked my own meals in my truck. I had a George Foreman grill, smokeless grill, microwave, refrigerator everything you needed.. Now that I am retired from driving I decided I was going to go back to doing the things that I love. Now I'm playing hockey two three times a week I do light weight training and light resistance training with calisthenics. Dog and I go for walks at least 5 miles three times four times a week. I'm probably in the best shape of my life a 64 years old. I don't even think about my testosterone level.

Do you think that the low testosterone has anything to do with the increase in the ‘Fem’ male increase in our society, such as transgender, gender dysphoria and homosexual traits?

Spent a lot of bucks taking things, testing, washing out. Things that don't help: tribulus, ashwaganda, tongat ali, magnesium, androstenedione (unless you want increased estrogen). Things that do help: DHEA & bovine kidney fat (suet). Probably any suet would do but I did the experiment using bovine. Your mileage may vary but at least I have da numbaz...not just some keyboard jockey commentating on KZbin. Thanks for that testosterone study. That's a great read.

Im deeply saddened by this. I just can’t believe that they are getting away with this. It’s like the flouride situation and that probably adds to the load of exposure. I am 29 and just married my husband and I want kids but I have fertility issues, so I don’t know if it’s going to happen

I took MONSTER-T for long time but found it gradually loses effect. I tried Adrenoplex - good for adrenal gland / kidney support. I injected Choriomon for some time. TA-65 didn't make me younger but drove my sex drive to insanity. L-Arginine is my little secret, it drives my sexual appetite up over night to a point of needing 4-5 times sex which is definitely too much for my advanced age, trust me I love my kidneys.😆 Thank you for all your tips. My doctor also gave me a book that explained increasing testosterone levels with high zink intake but it gave me much side effects. Testosterone is a great subject, also for women.

Can it be a mass boron deficiency? Incidence of arthritis increased in the post industrial age. Heavy metal toxicity goes up. Boron, which mediates the toxicity, is stripped or washed away. Its absence in a population directly correlates to the prevalance of arthritis. Arthritis corrlates to low test levels, heavy metal toxicity lowers test levels. Boron balances male and female hormones, accelerates healing, balances brain chemistry, supports NAD, puts magnesium and calcium in the bones. At the very least, boron deficiency must be a contributing factor.

Yes, Boron is very important. I've heard that higher amounts of Boron in the soil correlates with a healthier population.

There is also the frightening issue of primary treated municipal sewage being used to fertilize pasture land. Such material is full of heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, and anything that people flush down the toilet.

"Biotics Research" has some of the best organ extracts highly recommend. You do, however, have to be a practitioner of some kind to open an account with them. Also note with these extracts it's important to cycle on and off with these (eg. 2 months on, 1 month off) so that you are boosting your own system but not making it reliable. Some people need a few cycles on and off and their body gets the stimulation and help needed to kinda boost it into proper function. So much still to be learned with these extracts it's so exciting!!
