This workshop aims to support you to increase your mental wellbeing. We begin with some journaling, clarifying what you need to do in order to increase your mental wellbeing and then identifying actions to move forward. The workshop encourages you to trust your whole self and live in a way that is in line with who you are after cancer. This coaching workshop is for anyone who has completed cancer treatment - whether it was 10 days or 10 years ago.
Your facilitator: Steph founded Life after Cancer in 2018. She is an ICF trained coach, NLP Practitioner and Mental Health First Aider. After completing chemotherapy, Steph quickly realised that the impact of cancer didn't suddenly stop once treatment was over. Conversations around cancer decreased, the support structure that she’d got used to just wasn't there and there was an assumption that everything would 'go back to normal' because the treatment had ended. She realised that the world was a very different colour post cancer. Cancer shaped her life so she created Life after Cancer to support others in shaping theirs.
Life after Cancer brings people together who have finished cancer treatment with an aim to increase their physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing. The support they receive reduces the risk of serious mental distress and helps them to build a positive life after their cancer experience.
