Built in 1921 for descendants of a prominent Italian merchant family, it was never just a home-it was a legacy, a tribute to the family’s European roots. Though far from their homeland, they recreated a European dream, adorning every room with priceless antiques, carvings, and moldings that transported them back to their origins.
For generations, this house was a sanctuary, a place where family gathered, celebrated, and lived fully. As time passed and their numbers grew smaller, they opened their home to strangers, transforming it into a beloved bed and breakfast. I'm watching this now in San Francisco bay area. Love these old homes. Good job showing. The house should not be destroyed. I see the roof and where water coming in. Why in the meantime don't they put plastic over the roof till they can put new roof on? The home is worth restoring I believe. That shower was really old. Alot of furniture from the 1920's and 1930's it seems. History like this should be preserved. I really enjoyed this.

exquisite......beautiful everywhere the eye goes......every item carefully selected and coordinated......interesting contrast between the simple white exterior and interior......metal sink and cabinets in kitchen were from 1940's (grandmother had in her kitchen when did remodel in 40's ..house built 1920).....amazing find and excellent presentation befitting this fine house...thanks.....will remember this one

The wallpaper in the stairwell and upstairs hallway may possibly be Lincrusta. Made from linseed oil, wood flour, pine resin and mud chalk, Lincrusta was very popular with wealthy Americans beginning in 1883.

If someone bought the house from the original owners then it’s not really abandoned. You said they bought it in 2022 I believe. It IS sad the new owners haven’t done anything with it though.
