This Muscle Car Junkyard is hidden away in Michigan. The owner saved all these cars from being crushed over the years, and put them in a safe spot so nobody would do anything to them. Many are barn finds, or from other yards, or just sitting abandoned on the street. They had a little bit of everything in this yard.
There is a handful of Mopars scattered around the property, but a good majority of them are in the coming rows. They start in this row full of Chargers, Road Runners, a Superbee and a 1971 'Cuda 383 car! And this is just the beginning!

This is a much better video than your previous one. I retired from Chrysler Corporation in September 2001 in New Castle, Indiana after 33.5 years. I love mopars the best. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing this! That Charger 500 looks worth saving, as does that 71 Roadrunner(tho I agree, it'd be a helluva job). That's the advantage of having the aftermarket support now, hopefully some of these get brought back.

Oh I have no doubt they could be brought back. At least most of them.

Back in the 90's there was a junkyard in Waterloo NY, and still may be there on the main road outside town. The owner was real particular about who got in, and I got some parts there a few times. All 60's and 70's cars and trucks with a large Mopar section. Your mission, should you accept, is to find and document it. This message will self destruct in 5...

@@AutoArchaeology I was pretty young back when I went there, but it really stood out as far as the muscle car Era. There was another junkyard called Smitty's in Manchester NY that was a goldmine of classic cars with a stack of punchbugs in the back so large you could beat your buddy silly playing the punchbug game. He kept the good stuff up front and once sold me a complete Torino front end, minus bumper, for $25. It's called J&J now and all the good stuff is gone.

People street raced those cars. I remember my older cousins in the early 70's, when I was 6-8 years old, would pull under my grandma's pecan tree and pull the engines and rebuild them. Memories. 😅

It's interesting to see these cars in the junkyard. But like that Cuda you got to wonder who survived and who did not as occupants. Hey that falcon wagon was neat. Also the mustang granda. About 2 years ago I had a chance to buy one for $8,500 and look brand new. Apparently these cars don't bring very much. It did not have more than 40,000 mi on it. Pride and joy and he was selling out and going to Florida retiring. I know all this because he told me personally and that it was listed in his ad. Play used car dealer wouldn't lie to me 🤣🤣🤣. Stacked on top of each other regardless of the condition.

Yeah, the Falcon Wagons are oddballs, like early Dart Wagons or such. Cool cars though

Hello. My name is Ron, I'm now 66 and I've been looking for my old 68 GTO in Northern Ohio. I sold it around 1980, that person wrecked it according to a phone call from the Ohio Highway Patrol. They never even transferred the title . So I'm still the owner according to Title dept. I do have the Title from the State in my name. If you could give me any info on junkyard stashing of 68 GTOs I'd appreciate it. It would be all black, parchment interior, 4 speed, ps, non ac, non power brakes. Love your videos. I've been looking for this car since the mid 80s.

If some of the bigger dogs have titles and vin tags, could be something, worthwhile. Looks like the older videos show some better stuff. Interesting.
