I have seen channels where a guy sets in a boat and brags about how he catches fish but you just catch them and show how its done.❤❤❤👍

That fish you caught at 8:00 is not a smallmouth, looks like a mean mouth which is a mix of a smallmouth and a spot.

Let me just say if you need a nice ultra light go to a dunhams sporting goods and buy a canyon creek ultralight. Richard used one in a video and I decided to buy one. Best ultralight rod I’ve used. They even have two piece rods. God bless Richard. You are the man!

@15:43 In......Richard was in a "trance type state" because he completely remembered Momma Sue warning him not to come home without a couple of good sized "somethin' somethin's" so that she can fry something up real good & proper for supper. But Richard forgot for a minute what species of "somethin' Mama Sue had a kitchen hankering for that evening.....so here he was....in a trance....out of cell phone home calling range and way up that creek without a "Momma Sue Somethin' Somethin' Paddle". But that's the best way to be in a bad way there ever is.

Hello Richard! My first time watching you and as a fellow Alabamian, you made me chuckle at your personality and down-home phrases. Like talking to the fish, "quit quit quit. That is a beautiful creek. I live in Gardendale and was wondering where that was filmed. We have a beautiful state and I really enjoyed your video. Now subscribed, liked, and rung the bell. God bless.

Love the videos. It's really helped to reignite my fishing game..I got my personal best 8.6lb largemouth on a shallow diving 3" shad rapala during a thunderstorm at 6:30pm today. I spent the whole day fishing on the lake without catching squat, then came home and snagged a toad. Cheers, and best wishes.

Richard I love all of your videos, I saved them all. I'm an avid creek fisherman too but how often do you see snakes? I see them all the time wading and I'm wondering if water snakes and moccasins will bite under water and if so will you teach some safety tip when out there alone or even just that as a topic video. Not sure if you see this but I hope so.

Richard, this is one of the most fun videos you've posted! It's an adventure kids would really enjoy as they would be learning to watch where they're walking, learning to observe other wildlife, and learning about fishing, too. And thanks for the tip about bending up the barb of the hook on a jig. It really helps hooking more bites.
