You would like Emppu's solo on '7 days to the wolves' from Wembley 2015.

The effortlessness stems from the many many hours of effort she put in before :-)

Emppu is dampening the upper strings so they do not ring out. The focus is on the feel in the note he ended on. You nailed it. Bouzouki. One of my personal favorites from Nightwish and the breathtakingly powerful vocal ending from Floor. It is so good because Tuomas is a genius composer and Floor is a rare and special singer. This was Tuomas' death letter left for all of his loved ones including his fans.

This performance of Dead Boy's Poem is also one of my favourites, maybe even second to the Poet and the Pendulum (live at Wembley Arena 2015). But certainly in my top 5. If I may make a suggestion I think you would also like Shudder before the Beautiful (live at Wembley Arena 2015). That's a great example of how to open a concert and get the audience hyped up right from the start.

No doubt she has been given a truck load of talent but she is dedicated to her craft and it shows, time after time. Lots of hard work from her and the band.

An older Nightwish song, a personal piece from Tuomas, he wrote at age 23 saying what he needs to say before he dies. Emppu is a boss! Maybe next, check out another from this show, something more upbeat and fun, with I Want Might Tears Back, Buenos Aires.

Emppu is almost always smiling and having fun, except in this with it being so personal to Tuomas. This Buenos Aires 2018 show was on the Decades tour , where they played a lot of older songs. Yes, that's an Irish Bouzouki, but that wasn't part of the original. Troy didn't start playing with them until 2007. It was before Marko as well, he joined 2001. Next? Try Song of Myself at Wacken.

Every thought, the music I write... Everything, a wish for the night.... 🥹 This is such an sensitive poem, oh my god, every time goosebumps. Tuomas is a Master composer, this is pure emotion. And the melody so beautiful ✨ Floor sang it like it was a STORY...

Floor's singing isn't effortless. She just makes it look that way. Someone once said that Floor's singing wraps you in a big hug. Then she kicks you down the stairs. Then picks you up again and wraps you in another hug. 😊🤘
