This man is a true African busineman, smart and resilient. How do I know? It took him 8 years to build his hotel, which means that he did it bit by bit and therefore did not take out any huge loans from anybody. The advantage of that strategy is that you start making money from day 1 because the hotel belong to you 100% and you do not have to use any part of your profits to pay creditors. Just from this hotel, the man is already worth tens of million $. Another thing is his involvement in the business day to day. I know from experience that in Africa, if you are not personally involved in your business, you will only make 60-70% of what you should be making because of extra management fees, losses due to people not always doing the right thing.

I would put a restaurant on the rooftop and build a nightclub in there. So that there would still be business going on on the premise during Coronavirus shutdown. It makes no sense to keep these high prices when there is no customers coming in.

Yes and it's not just hotels. Airbnbs as well. Also basic homes for sale in Accra cost far more than they cost (and with far lower quality) in many parts of the US/UK etc. So that's for Africans or foreigners abroad - now imagine the affordability for regular Ghanaians.... It's a bizarre dichotomy from extremely expensive to abject poverty all around.

👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿. Très bien. Je suis impressionné. Why didn’t you show us the bathrooms of the hotel 🏨 you seemed to have skipped 😑 over it. Does the hotel have private parking for its guest? Would it be able to handle a full house when every guest has a car? At least if the hotel is not filled up the parking can be used by non guest, at a charge off course
