This is the reason why I’m proud of her. If you notice - all her outfits are predominantly African - her hair - natural african, her face everything odds natural. This woman is a silent warrior - a role model for the younger generation. This is what the fight for the betterment of our continent looks like. Kudos. Ps that last video - gentrification - got me to finally hit the subscribe button. That was excellent. We also want to see the struggles of our people so we can think of the solutions.

I have no idea how I ended up on this channel, but I'm really glad I did. I had no particular interest in Ghana, I barely knew Accra is the capital, but now all I can think about all day is Ghana, what an amazing country, I watch videos about Ghana everyday, it's like I'm on a geography assignment or something, I know there's a magnitude of data and shades of grey I will probably not grasp in this lifetime, but I really did develop a connection to this country thanks to you, Vanessa. My dream now is to visit Ghana and the Ivory Coast, not sure when that's gonna happen as my health hasn't been great as of late but I will focus my thoughts on this until I'm able to manifest! Much love from a Brazilian lady :-)

It's obvious that he is very talented. He is also fortunate to boot. The fact is that his father handed over to him two major assets, which gives him a headstart. Some of us had to grind to secure what we have. My father never gave me any property. I pulled myself by my boot straps to own the two properties that I have since returning to Ghana from the States, after living there for 30 years. More grease to his elbows though.

Great and love what you are bringing to young Africans, albeit the Ghanian’s youth, Vanessa. Your Dad should be proud of you. I am too. As regards the building, I think a modern design/aesthetic burglary bars on the windows would make a lot of difference and enhances the curb appeal. The current existing design (painted white) really takes away from the building. He should consider replacing them. He needs to add some (metal) railings (to approx 42in high) to the top floor balcony/patio where he was talking to Vanessa, because the concrete railing is too low. The bottom of the concrete railing also needs inserted railing too, to prevent a child sliding underneath and fall.

@@nasto4u850 to be honest - I’m already there because I started a construction project early this year. However in terms of physically coming down. Off and on this year and next year should be more often. Since 14 years of age I have been planning how to come to Africa to create industries, jobs, training and development opportunities especially for our young as well as our disadvantaged people . I started a social enterprise here in the U.K. a few years ago to setup a blueprint of how the whole thing will work. When I come I don’t want to waste any time - so I need to put some foundations in place first 😀 Blessings.

Why didn't their parents build in Ghana? Didn't they feel any connection to their mother land. It would be really interesting to know the stories of the immigrants that left Africa for Europe or North America back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s who don't want to come back to their home countries. What are their fears? Is Europe a better place to retire? I would love to see Venessa do such an episode one day.

If you follow the entire video then you would know his parents bought the land and even began the building. You need to fully understand their circumstances to criticise them . They have a well raised son who’s is full on showing gratitude to his parents, completing what they began and thankful for the opportunities that they made available to him . Watch the video .
