Yeah I thought I just imagined this commercial since I think it only aired like once or twice in late '88!! I used to think it was a ROSS commercial but soooo happy to see it again after all these years!!

I remember this ad and I haven't seen it since the spring of 1988 when it aired. The Incredible Hulk Returns aired in May of that year. At least it answers the question I had of what Hulk would do to a necktie if Dr. Banner was wearing one when he changed. He'd just rip it off!
