This looks like something I would build. Major overkill using that amp to drive those tiny little speakers though. I used one of those amps for an experimental PA system build and it blew my mind. It can drive dual 120watt home theatre ceiling speakers (2 left and 2 right, parallel connected) and a 300watt 10inch sub to crystal clear live concert like levels of sound. Awesome job on the arcade machine mate. Nice video. Thanks for sharing! 👍

Such a great job with the build! Just freaking annoys me that you can give it so much love and care and then stick the shittiest arcade hardware in it. It deserves some real joysticks and buttons. I would never have wrote this if I though your build was half assed. A nice product just needs nice hardware :D

Incredible work! I’m finishing a years long dream of installing a 17” flatscreen monitor, Dreamcast, VGA box, powered stereo speakers, power strip, controller & game storage, all inside a $5 wooden & boxy & solid suitcase! Plenty room to add a Pi, too! Open the 90 degree brass hinge, plug in the power strip, play for rainy vacation days! Using a load of 10-15lbs industrial Velcro brand sticky back to hold most pieces in place. Our projects are different, but wanted to share the idea I’m going with! All works, just the Velcro and maybe some zip-ties and 20 minutes (tomorrow!). Nice epoxy addition! Fascinating watch!

This looks much nicer than the one I’ve built. I took the cheaper and easier approach and used a harbor freight case with a thrift store monitor. Using the foam for the case I just set in the Pi and a small speaker. I also used a removable joystick so the case can close. Great job!

Those who have a Pandora’s Box arcade system (like what I have) are gonna be surprised. Furthermore, this should be portable; though looks fairly large (but not too large). So that can be brought for parties (indoors and outdoors). Perhaps use that arcade cabinet for a local tournament. 😉

Bahh another clik bait video! video thumbnail shows full size arcade machine and title says arcade room. watch the video and it's just a folding game controller with an LCD glued inside a show box. still a neat idea and some great tooling skills but was kinda expecting more 🤨like the coin slots. You could also add some sound proofing foam within the button board to reduce the noise from the controllers and buttons. Reduce the fire hazard with those exposed mains transformers around all that wood, they should be enclosed within their fire safe casing.

Sorry, but this is terrible. Should have used a proper arcade monitor, or at the very least, an LCD with the correct aspect ratio. The games don't look good at all stretched to 16:9.

Jlcpcb took part of your video as their 3D printing advertisement. now unless you had them print your speaker covers and control knob bracket now if you printed them yourselves at home then that would be considered stealing content. Because technically they didn't make your speaker cover or control knob area if you printed it yourself Unless you gave them permission to use part of the video

Sicuramente il lavoro e' un opera d' arte ... sopratutto il controllo x arkanoid. e' una chicca .. ma se posso dire una cosa negativa e spero di non ricevere troppe critiche in quanto il tuo lavoro e' stupendo... il fatto che per i coin op 70/80/90 lo schermo deve essere CRT altrimenti perde tutto il fascino dei tempi andati...
