I'll take two of the cocaine room with the stripper poles please! jk Surprised they didn't have a grow-room model...you know, the Green-Pod. For growing "tomatoes" discreetly! lol In all seriousness, I'd love one of the bigger ones (that look like legitimate homes inside) they got to be buried on a decent sized piece of land and put a tiny'ish house with a sizable deck on top of it. *They should make an underground indoor range model for quite discrete pistol target practice! (I have friends who would fork over 30K to have that)

Hi Mr. Hubbard!! All contaminated air filters need to be exchanged sooner or later, how do you accomplish that in your shelters without contaminating the whole shelter and its occupants? Where in the shelter can you safely store the contaminated filter/s and garments ? Does your shelters provide a place where you can insert radio antennas and air sampling devices without compromising the shelter? Thanks!! Great video!!

@Jason O The US government recommends it could be safe between 72 hours and 2 weeks. If your hiding for YEARS then you got bigger issues than air! You gonna stock 2 years worth of food and water? That's gonna be one BIG ASS shelter!

@Jason O its not true that over a tousand people have died. what apile of uneducated nonsense here.
@woswasdenni1914
@woswasdenni1914 4 жыл бұрын
@Jason O this is not true at all. see radiation is nothing more than high frequency high energy radiowaves. if you radiate something it WONT become radioactive. after the initial gamma ray blast at a nuke detonation theres not that much radioativity as you might think. its only the now to dust vaporated bombcore. it might be a a few tons (depending on the type of nuke) or a few kilograms, but its high dense material, so not much volume. it will dillute quickly. the radiation levels might still be increased but far from lethal. see the only way to die imidiatly by radiation is radiation sickness (from which you can recovery fully). only in hte long run there might be elevated cancer risk, even tough we dont even have enough research on this to fully understand it. the real risk after a nuclear blast in the following months is the food chain. see alpha and gamma radiatiors are not an issue, they wont penetrate your cloths or skin. gamma at this point has not enough energy todo any damage. BUT if you inhale or digest alpha and beta radiators in then youre in trouble. after a year there wont be anything in the air, but in the food chain as no organism can metabolise the leftovers. so you have to wait to it is dilluted enough and or simply gone (depending on the half life time of the particular nuclei and what its decay product is). now if its a nuke with a few kilotons theres a non issue with radiation after the blast. there is simply not enough material in there to cause a real threat. if its in the megatons, then yea for a few months the dust will be plenty and hazzardous. after 6months it declines rapibly in lethality. bottom line, people dont understand the type and nature of radiation and its dangers. it wont "contaminate" anything, what can contanimnate oyu is the dust of decaying nuclei as leftovers of a bomb of nuclear core. wash it off and youre fine. just be careful with any open food or animals as a food source. thats the big issue.

I have two question for you 😁. 1)How much does it cost to built a monolithic dome bunker ? 2)Do you ship them to Europe? By the way your bunkers are way better than the competition 👍
@ambertracks
@ambertracks 5 жыл бұрын
Now when you say Monolithic, many designs come to mind, but adding a dome can you be more specific please. Here is a video that may help us to get on the same page. Let me know if this transforming house in Poland is what you mean by monolithic. Yes, worldwide can be done as for these are prefabricated. Costs vary when it comes to overseas. I suggest hiring Atlas to do research and schematics for your unique situation, laws and regulations to see what can and cannot be done and from there they can give you a better idea on what teams to use locally and what has to be flown in for a more accurate cost. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnjSaHykbKZ0ndU

I have built and consulted on many bunker construction products over the last 42 years. I realize you have had problems with Rising levels toy shelters. Let me tell you my opinion ok!! Your product from stem to stern is miles above better than the trashy builds I’ve seen from your competitors. It’s about the materials used and the pride taken to assemble your bunkers. I’m sorry you are experiencing negative feedback as a result of their Mussolini style of marketing. But you can stand behind your work because of the empirical truth that is this: you sell and mfg. a far better made product and that is a fact without any doubt. Keep on doing what you’ve been doing since the 50’s guys!! You are the best!! That’s why you market your product based on the TRUTH not BULLSHIT!! Peace✌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Can you put a amateur Radio command center underground and if so can you put antenna out side and will it still be completely safe inside the bunker ?
@ambertracks
@ambertracks 5 жыл бұрын
@MKEP, yes, absolutely, portholes can be used for wiring and i believe these prefabricated units already come such holes pre drilled for electric and all you have to do (or hire someone to do) is to seal em up after you run the wiring, , , very simple and much needed for communications. Atlas rep will be along shortly to address this further.
@davebrunero5529

Yes. However if you want to ensure your equipment will survive an EMP, you need to consider protection and the operating frequency range of the equipment. Simply adding holes will allow the signal (EMP) to penetrate.

***AIRWAY Question*** If the airways in your bomb shelter gets compromised then what do you do? OR lets say SHTF and your neighbor knows you have this shelter can someone from the outside smoke you out or close off your airways?
@TheFelish33
@TheFelish33 5 жыл бұрын
If they find the airway you're quite fucked. They can block it or fill it up with water to force you to come out. *Unless* you have a valve to block the airway and possibly having multiple airway to switch to if one of them is compromised.
@2fathomsdeeper

Yes, you DO want to harden and conceal your air ducts. Mine are actually buried! ??? Yes, they still have good airflow and don't show up on thermal, even venting the generator and clothes dryer into them. I'll let you try to figure out how, as I don't want to give folks what to look for. But having metal candy canes in the yard is a dead giveaway that there's a bunker or septic system. And if you have municipal sewage, it's a bunker!
@Berkeloid0
@Berkeloid0 5 жыл бұрын
@@2fathomsdeeper So what you're saying is that on your way to the bunker you need to 'relieve yourself' next to the air intake so that anyone investigating will smell sewerage and think it's for a septic system? Just as well they have air filters!

Example: there is an image of a home demolished by hurricane Michael and there is a car where I think the kitchen would have been. How do you get out if a car or tree or whatever is covering the door? If you have a party room, could the stripper poles be used as hydraulic jacks, just trying to think outside the box...

How does that manual crank for air work? I mean how long you have to crank it for the air to last x amount of time or do you have to crank it all the time? Second question: Would this type of solution be cheaper/easier/faster/less hassle with all kinds of permits for building a man cave solely for entertainment purposes? Is it possible to have one without that air intake system, without having any kind of breathing problems? This solution, being under the ground, would leave the land above it open for other purposes.

I've been binge-watching your videos and have wondered why you don't use a US Navy style ladder for access. Not verticle, but steeper and more compact than stairs. Removable for verticle access, and easy to slide down boxes for resupply. Side chains are also removable.

The Nado Pod looks like the Pulowski Preservation Shelters from fallout 4. I hope they are better than the ones in-game. I like your products. I hope that when I get older, I can purchase a bunker.

One quick question: regarding the corrugated culvert shelters. In the titan 1 site located in eastern Colorado there are several passages that are collapsing. Is that due to poor construction or engineering? Granted it is going on 60 years old.

When the power goes out; How long do you have to turn the NBC filter system. 24 hr until the power comes back on or 1hr that will last for 24hrs. This is a piece of important information the I and pretty sure others would like to know. Can you please let us know.

Hello, thanks for the great videos! I have one big question. How do you address the installers coming back or anyone at the city or county who might have seen the permits coming when the SHF and trying to break in or worse. I've often wondered how someone addresses this issue. BTW this video is GREAT showing an example of each type of room really helps convey the offer.

Can you explain something to me? On the atlas shelters, it says there good for the after effects of a nuclear bomb, but the air pipes are on the outside so surely your going to be breathing in contaminated air?
