These guys are true "old school" craftsman!! I love the paint job and hand lettering at the end too!! I do cringe a bit when watching someone bang a new bearing into a housing using a steel sledge hammer though!! Of course anywhere I have worked as a machinist/fabricator I would have gotten yelled at for no safety glasses, no welding goggles or shoes!!

Respect to the workers who are doing their job well within the limited means. The end result is an effective grinder/ masher .. crude as it may seem, everything falls in place in the end. Only wish the workers took more precautions, especially while welding, spray painting and on the lathe.

I was thinking the same thing The cataracts the the guy welding is going to get. Closing your eyes to weld does very little. A little bit of safety would go a long way.

I think I've seen this same guy re-treading tires, crafting hand made alligator skin shoes and making worlds sharpest knife out of ball bearings. He does it all out of his restauraunt called "King of butter Omelett". He's really a "Power of Skills" guy!!!

@@user-xy8tc4cr9m Это механизированная ступа для помола. В ней можно перемолоть зерно, скажем, для животноводства. Или для пищевой промышленности - перемолоть на муку зерно. Измельчить (подробить) что-нибудь. Механический привод довольно мощный, и не нужно вручную поднимать тяжелую болванку. Результат будет примерно такой же, как на мельнице. Технология эта устаревшая, но вполне себе эффективная для мелких фермеров, предпринимателей, небольших хозяйств, пекарен и пр.

Не сделают. В своё время китайцам была передана вся документация по ТУ-16, построен завод, вводилось обучение в вузах. И лишь спустя 22 года китайцы смогли наладить выпуск своих самолётов вместо отвёрточной сборки. Китайские авиадвигатели до сих пор не могут достичь долговечности российских и западных двигателей. Компетенции нарабатываются годами и десятилетиями. Нужно воспитать тысячи специалистов, а это требует времени. Зато потом идёт резкий скачок развития страны. А если не уделять внимания кадрам и технологиям, то идёт деградация. Например, Россия в 2019 году вернула часть компетенций, которые имела в 89 году при постройке "Бурана" и утратила в 90-е.

I love the video, and it's amazing how and what you do things and final product looks great... But! if there's any protection you have to use, it's some form of eye protection for welding. And they are using it sometimes, but you got to use it every time. It will be hard to continue welding... if you can not see :(

Lots of skill here, but this is what all manufacturing used to be like before standardization and assembly lines. One off structures that require a full rebuild for replacement parts, etc. Sad to see the retrogression.

The whole engineering in their mind. They have the artisan mind and final product focused before them in the brain and work reverse till the raw materials down the work shop. Then it takes shape step by step. Many of Mason build house just with a stick that measure the size. But engineering can't prove them wrong. Many Qualified Engineers take their ideas or entrust the project in their hands and only periodically asks how they would get it done. A simple water tube can easily define the slope. All these water level scale were invented later.

i used to have a herd of about 100 ghotas for several years and i used to make ghota cheese.....this machine looks very similar to the machine i used to milk the nanny ghotas, except the vicious club on the end was bigger on my machine.....the nannies took one look at that machine and the ghota milk appeared like a magic river
