Also interesting you went with the North Sea Jazz version, it's not as overwhelming visually as the Montreux performance on that great stage with the lake and sunset behind, and maybe a little shorter, and it lacks that magical moment with the bubble captured on cam in Montreux, but vocally it may be even a little more refined and sophisticated... really encourage you to watch her Montreux performance as well, but you may do that off cam and react to other songs of hers, there are so many great ones...

Fantastic review as ever I always enjoy your breakdowns. The better performance for me though is at The Montreux festival . Better Backdrop, better ambience, more Steez, better interaction between her and her band, better runs, funnier and more theatrical ending like James Brown was known for But most of all the time the space that song could have went on all night, nothing rushed, simply beautiful It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things though. Please keep up the Raye reviews Id recommend her Tiny desk concert next time. Good luck with the channel.
