If your kingpin nut is tightened that many turns, you need harder bushings or the turning geometry will be affected & the kingpin sticks out further risking a catch on grinds.

Only the axle is titanium and last a bit longer that average axle.The hanger and rest of alloy is the same as stantard indys so The grinding area runs out the same as the other. To me the real issue is the plate that is thinner and more fragile.I had deformation of front truck holes.

Hey Oni! Love your videos. I have OJ Juice Cube risers on the way because of your review. Your Bones Hardcore Bushings review may have been a little hasty, though. I went through the same as you- also 0ver 200lbs and need tighter trucks. Thought about putting the old barrel washer back on the bottom but swapped that top washer out for the stock one. Can tighten to show 3 threads now. Still a bit turnier but not to the point that I get speed wobbles. Might be re-evaluating them when I skate some vert, though.

Sadly I lost them and my local shop ran out lol and yeah I should had gave them more time to break in and stuff but my tightness I have right now is perfect so I don’t want mess with it ya know hahah I’m glad things are looking to see fit for your set up! I hate how it can take some time to find the right stability for your board lol

I have the 159s. Definitely a very light truck for being Indies and the size of the truck. I like them but I've shifted towards Ace AF1s for the past several months. There's just something different about the Ace turn that even trumps Indies good turn.

Niiiiice! I have yet to try some Aces in general. I will very much like to try ACE AF1s and also some ventures!

@@onichama9279 it’s all good fun to change it up every once in a while. Personally I’m a bit over the truck madness for now. Aces might be a bit heavy but I can’t be bothered changing things all the time. I do have some AF1 lows coming in though. If they are to my liking there’s no need to change from Aces again. At least I say so now 😂.

@@RikRiorik I feel that there lmao I change my whole set up way too often, it drives me crazy especially because I always feel I need to relearn everything on a skateboard. So I do my best to keep and be happy AND SANE with what I have lol but let me know how those new aces are lol

i hv only rode Thunder 149TI..most of my Indy's are the Stage XI hollows. from 144 to the 169. got 1 indy mids 159.

titanium is weaker that steel. Aluminum is the lightest but also the weakest. Steel is tge heaviest but far stronger. Titanium is lighter than steel and stronger than aluminum but it's heaver than aluminum and weaker than steel... AND that's IF you get grade 5 titanium. Most hobby grade titanium is a lesser grade and therefor heavier and weaker than grade 5 titanium.
